As Cryptorush is hacked again it seems we might take that away from OP and put in topic that we are on C-CEx at least (hardly any volume but hope it picks up now)

Yes.
I had to solo-mine on the new wallet to get valid blocks with DGW and my test-miner "only" did 500 kH/s

Any lab-bunny that has a vps or linux-virtualbox on his computer is enough

I would suggest on block 200.000 or higher, so we have reasonable amount of time to inform everybody and make them switch.
This makes a lot of sense! We PM'ed you the creds for the github, so you can add it to the source. We will contact the wallet compilers to add the new source, so we can release them.

sadly no :/
we dont have any windows machines where we could compile it on.
(same for mac...)
You'll have to compile by hand..

The net just cracked 183500 and the DGW is not accepting those blocks from 7002 anymore.
it's now reporting a difficulty of 0.02697108 for Block# 183499
Can somebody do the maths?

We have no idea if it will work, but we cant see any reason why it shouldnt...

Sync breaks when the DGW blockheight is in the past
TestNet is broken for unknown reason.
What we did:
Re-Implement DGW(v2)
Raise the DGW blockheight to 200.000 (~15k blocks in the future) / Can be changed if OP decides
Test the Sync of the current blockchain to the new code
What we didnt/couldnt do:
Make sure DGW really kicks in at block 200.000
We're working on a test-version that has lower blockheight but for to test either of them we will need some mining-power as TestNet option is broken for unknown reasons
