There is no need to PoS in Groestl as there are no ASICS?
Jumping on the PoS train simply because Blackcoins success is not a smart idea.
Mining is very important to groestl, or else why not just make a srypt coin and switch to pos?

Starting from block 120000 (approximately 4-th of June) there will be changes in block reward (gradual decrease to 25 GRS at block 150,000). Github repository was updated and exchanges and pools are already updating their wallets.
This is a dumbest idea I have heard. Even now GRS is on the edge of profitability. And you will dump the reward.
In that case - I am out.

does everyone like the name? come on i know its roots etc etc, but if you want mainstream adoption you need to consider renaiming the coin. as people that are not northern europeans will NOT know how to pronounce it. i've seen that coins do better when their names are accessible for the majority of people

I do not like the name too, but if the focus is on the PoW algo, then it makes sense.
Still not the best for wide adoption marketing, though.

Windows and Mac wallets are not ready yet, so there is nothing that you need to do at this point. We have plenty of time before 4th June. I think the wallets will be ready tomorrow. I will make a separate post about this.
And finally, here is one photo from the promo photoshoot that I promised before:
(note, this is not Photoshop but a real staged photoshoot. More photos to come later, currently they are in post production)
