Someone on the french forum about mining i come from run some tests with a simple rig setup, with 2 x R9 280X

All tests ran with the same frequency etc..
Each algo can be optimized, but for comparison, it's good.

Power at the wall:
Quote
Idle
80-90w

scrypt
550W - 2 x 720khs

Scrypt-N
537W - 2 x 350khs

Scrypt-jane
485W- 2 x 133khs

Groestl
271W - 2 x 7 025khs

Myr-G
295W - 2 x 9 920khs

skein
440 W - 2 x 212 500khs

Keccak
430W - 2 x 316 000khs

X11
285W - 2 x 2 080khs

Result : Groestl is the most gpu friendly algo, for power, temp and noise, even better than X11 Smiley

a little tuning on one of mine:
4 R9 280x + 1 x 7950.
3 R9 are overclocked at 1250MHz, the 4th at 1150MHz - 1.2v
The 7950 runs at 1100MHz - 1.15v
Memory for all 4 run at 1000MHz
Look at the temp (scrypt : between 75 to 83°C)

Amazing, this is exactly what we need. We need to make this known to the rest of the community pronto!

I can only get 6.4 Mh/s from my R9 280's what are your settings?

Strong developer support is evidence of the superiority of Many coins. The more active the developers, the more likely that cryptocurrency is to succeed. I agree with this. Developers are important because they are key to providing the infrastructure around a coin, allowing greater levels of adoption and ease of use. They also allow greater incentive to adopt the coin through the provision of important goods and services.

My understanding is that the dev is temporarily unavailable and that a team under his supervision is being assembled as we speak.

Bittrex still not listed on the front page, Shame that there is no Admin support for this coin!

We need something done about this problem. If gruve_p is too busy for such matters perhaps he could delegate.

Agreed this Coin is missing valuable support, I like the activity push on Twitter but it's not enough.
There is no housekeeping or real marketing / Design Development all of the softer things that can make a good coin great!

Other coins have Competitions, Givaways, Faucets, Lotto, Games, Youtube promo and other social media etc..

Have a look at https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-usde-unitary-status-dollar-ecoin-improved-halving-kgw-fix-update-410254 this is a great example of how a coin should be pushed
I used to mine USDE but gave up on it a while back! but you have got to admire the support it gets!

There is no doubt that this is a fantastic Algo and I love mining it but it is pointless if no-one knows about it!
Although I am enjoying the low difficulty ....

You can ignore me but you cant ignore the truth.

Dev probably dumped his instamied coins and moved on since this project didnt get as much attention as he wanted.

In the meanwhile the price has fallen by more than 30% this week.

I didn't know you were the voice of truth ! sorry !

Like when you were suporting skeincoin ! What, skeincoin, what is it ? Yeah, another coin that died...So, you can be wrong ??

Seriously, if you know the future, you are already rich and you have other thing to do than educate us...

Man, we didn't care if you are right or not. We believe in this coin, you don't. Ok, no problem for me, if you don't believe in this coin, it's your right. But why are you here ? I can't undertand.
You complain about instamined. It was not. Premine ? all premine was guiven in bounty. The fact you think you come too late ? It's not too late.

I thought it's obvious that Calhil simply wants to be that one dissenter that can have a chance to gloat and say "look at all these posts I made early on, I told you all but no one listened" in the scenario that the coin fails. I doubt he has any desire to actually protect newcomers' investments. He's brought up one point about GRS but it really doesn't seem like a huge dealbreaker to me (considering other "instamined" coins that have done well already).

On another note, I've been voting consistently at Mintpal for this coin, even if there is no realistic chance of actually being listed anytime soon. If even one other person notices GRS' consistent rise in the voting list then it is worth it.

Relax Calhil, the dev is busy at the moment thats why he hasn't added it. The price fluctuates up and down as it is usual for young coins. So nothing out of the ordinary.

We are marketing the coin hard on Twitter at the moment and together with Coinmarketcap and one of the larger xchanges we will make the noise that we need.
