Maybe at 2018 we will see the launch of HLM wallet that may start deploying masternodes for the Helium network. I hope bitmain miner d3 is compatible with HLM

Keep looking this thread and join the Slack channel for the announcement... The wallet will be ready this month and you can claim your coins.

Is there another web site for this project? Now that SPR is gone, when will Helium wallet be available for download? When our Helium will be deposited in those wallets? When can we start setting up the masternode?

Any advice where I should go to learn how to setup a masternode? Do I need to get my hands on 1000 HLM or SPR? I looked at the 1st page and didn't get much info about setting it up.

You would need to have 1000 HLM to set up a Helium masternode.

If you want to practice, the easiest and the cheapest would be if you register an AWS instances for yourself for free (Ubuntu 16.04 is recommended on your VPS) and buy 1000 ARC on Cryptopia. The  VPS is free, 1000 ARC cost about $50. As both coin is based on DASH, setting up a HLM masternode will be almost the same as setting up an ARC masternode.
You can find a guide how to set up an ArcticCoin (ARC) masternode in the ARC's BitcoinTalk page.

Crave coin is a good one to start with too. Just set up my first one.

I do not understand after reading the first page back and forth still do not understand too. How to get HLM into my hands from follow bounty. Give me an easier explanation.

Bounty will come once there is a wallet and the network is live.

M

The real question is not when the bounty will be transferred. That is obvious, need to wait for a working network and wallet...
The question is, when we are going to know how much HLM we earned during the campaign. 3 weeks should have been enough to calculate it and publish a spreadsheet.

Please see the Helium FAQ before asking questions.  It answers a lot of the common questions that people ask over and over and (and over) again, apparently without taking the time to read the first page. Smiley

As Graham so astutely pointed out over on the Spreadthread, a lotta
millennials noobs here on fondleslab devices, but this forum UI
is designed for desktops.I sometimes post on my I-leash and it's a fat
finger PITA to navigate.
Having said that,I agree with your post...i.e ,no excuse for laziness.

So wait, how is HLM related to SPR? From what I can tell, Coins101 was part of SPR project but decided to leave to do Helium

I read some people are getting HLM from SPR snapshot? I thought HLM was starting as a dash fork using X11?

It's a code fork of DASH, but an airdrop to SPR holders at a certain (past) snapshot date. Honestly, it's explained in the first posting.

It's unclear how to exchange an SPR coin for Helium with bittrex.com I understand that they threw us coins SPR, and at the old price they will not ... SPR will be covered, what should I do with it?

I am not sure what your situation or what you are trying to do.
The only thing I am sure is, Bittrex didn't support the swap, which means if your coins where on Bittrex on 10/10/2017 your SPR balance didn't participate and you won't be able to receive any HLM coin.

Need updates here.  Im sure this project is on point but lack of communication makes it smell fishy.  I have a tiny fear that these guys just bought a bunch of spr early on and this whole thing was a manufactured pump and dump for spr.

I don't think it's a scam, coins101 has a very good reputation. But yes, the communication is a disaster. It's only after someone here raises a big stink that we get any progress information. I can't understand what's so hard about writing a bi-weekly update, even if you have a day job. This is especially galling as they claim to do "Agile Development" in the ANN post. Now I work as an agile coder and frequent and timely communication is one of the top obligations of an agile team. Just as a reminder, there's an agile manifesto, and it says (among other things; emphasis mine):

Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer
through early and continuous delivery
of valuable software.

Business people and developers must work
together daily
throughout the project.

Honestly thinking about dumping all HLM once they can be traded and get out of this. Should have bought into Crown - team is also a split-off from SPR and they have a working masternode coin and service nodes and all the nice stuff.

DEVS: Please, you are doing your own project a huge disservice claiming Agile when you rarely communicate, your github is empty and you have no MVP to show. I bought into this not least because of your reputation and the Agile claim (which is rare enough). I confess I am losing hope by what I see instead. At least strike the Agile claim, it rubs it in every time I read it.

I cant wait to be proven wrong.  If its not a scam this will be my first masternode coin

They've been updating. I had the same fear when we were waiting on the snapshot date but others reminded me that the founders are reputable. It would be nice to have an actual update on the blockchain and an ETA but it may not be a good idea. It's better to wait until you know the launch date for sure, then tell everyone. If they keep giving ETAs and pushing it back, people get pissy.

Lots of posts but no dev response it's imperative for a good project to also have good communication. Does your team have yet a marketing/community manager? If not it would appear that despite all your skill in code your team will need one asap.

Totally Agreed .

There is a community manager, but looks like he isn't too active for some reason. He is in BCT as well, but looks like doesn't like posting too often.
