Lots of posts but no dev response it's imperative for a good project to also have good communication. Does your team have yet a marketing/community manager? If not it would appear that despite all your skill in code your team will need one asap.

I wasn't suggesting a premine that's unscrupulous, but it is how they're generating the HLM to credit to SPR snapshots....
And you don't need weeks to adjust difficulty, all of this could be easily done in a weekend, there are numerous difficulty adjustment algorithms that could be patched in rather simply, and it doesn't take weeks to do. Just launch your own test coin guys, this stuff is actually way simpler than it appears if you know a tiny bit of C++, linux command line, and how to compile software. There are numerous step by step guides out there. Chain length has zero to do with anything, difficulty and difficulty retarget time is all that really matters - and again, you don't need weeks to solve that problem. You may need weeks to await your ASIC farm to arrive though.
Most professional projects have this shit 90% figured out BEFORE launching. I've got a ton of HLM (er, IOU HLM that is), believe me I want it to succeed, but the lack of professionalism in managing this project is really starting to show. It's been 8 months since HLM officially became a thing. Taking weeks and what looks like it will turn into over a month to release a wallet is embarrassing.

helium is already on exchange, on cryptopia but the wallet is not ready yet, you need for the launch date to happen before you can deposit and trade, be patient

I don't believe they've said they are "mining for weeks". I'm just speculating ... those coins have to come from somewhere.
Maybe a dev will pipe in and indicate what they are doing.

Right, which is my genesis block question. You can have the very first block award any amount you want and then go back to the normal emission for future blocks, it's actually quite simple.
