Yes. The core team is on Slack, but I am not sure of Telegram (I am not sure we have Telegram).
They are not the most active dev team on social media, but that is understandable, they are busy with the final touches of the launch.

Are the devs active in a slack or telegram?

The tweet that was release saying that an announcement will come shortly was dated two days ago, i have no problem how long will it take as long as it is being worked and the community is being updated about the progress.

Not all of us are poor souls... Some of us don't trust exchanges and won't send any of our coins there to be stored for any length of time. So, people like me kept our SPR in our personal wallets knowing that it would be 100% safe there. Then we were told if we did that to just contact the devs and we would then confirm our address with them to get our HLM... Well, some of us have sent PMs to them with no response at all. I think there is a big difference between FUD and people just being worried about getting their coins. I trust Coins101 1000% as I have held SPR for a very long time and followed his work and ideas, it was the first coin I mined when I got into crypto 2 1/2 years ago...

I also see a lot of people here say "You have to be on Slack if you want any updates." Again, there is no "one size fits all." 99% of the day that I am online is when I am at work, well... Slack is a blocked website at my work because it is under the web category of "Chat and Instant Messaging."

So I have to give a massive thank you to the folks on here who have the kindness to share the important things said in the Slack on this forum. Without you guys some of us would be left in the dark.

Either way, I am super excited for this project to finally release a working wallet and I cannot wait to see where all of this ends up.

Good update. Take your time Devs before unleashing Helium to the world.

Don't worry about FUD being spread here. They are poor souls who just did not get their HLM's hehehe.

no scam i think they just want to avoid leaked information, to have better result for when HLM launch, besides all coins are on cryptopia can not be scammed

This is the point to release now... People who are not serious in the project would dump the coin, and us who believe in it could pick up their holdings for much cheaper.

Well slack have a lot of issues lately, a whitelist where we can register to have update by mail can be a good thing

Lot of normal user expect news and announcement on this page because it should be done in this space

The thread already a moderated thread. HLM has stated they won't really prune posts unless they're really over the line, like that one ISIS supporter guy. The dev team has basically abandoned bitcointalk and refuses to post updates here on a regular basis, they want you to join Slack if you want to keep up with them.

Devs, Marketing Team, Can you please start new moderated thread? Amount of idiots and fudders here is unbelievable...
