Be very careful of this. I have two 1,000 coin masternodes. Now they are changing the collateral every so many blocks. Sounds like being forced to buy more coins. Sounds like a dev pump and dump but I could be wrong. Just a gut feeling.
I also have 2 mns but i will not buy any more coins i will keep saving from staking.The dev, based on my interactions with him, seems like a stand up dude or dudette. I have several MNs and ASICs helping to support the network. And like you not investing more, only increasing my position by trading 1/2 of my daily MN earnings, 1/4 goes to saving up for next collateral jump, and 1/4 goes to folk in the community who are helping out like Bit Yoda who has been assisting with guides and providing a sense of stability in helping MN owners get organized. He's a beast! This coin really needs a community voice or some investor relation-type person. My 2 cents.
There is misinformation about the max supply and it will be updated accordingly. The max supply since the progressive collateral was implemented is now 80,000,0000. This can be verified by looking at the source code on github, line 67 of main.h.

So the 1000 deposit stops working when block 160k is reached and then you need 5000. It is impossible though to get the transaction ID to start your masternode before that time. Nobody will be able to get a 5k masternode going before the rules will chain.
