I think eHealth has really potential to become something really big here.

I just read this short article about that Vitalik Buterin has donated around $2.4m to SENS last year.
For everyone who wants to read himself: https://cointelegraph.com/news/vitalik-buterin-donates-24-million-in-ether-to-anti-aging-research

Thank you cantdecide.. interesting information .. do you know if sens is tied to EHF ?

That is a research program, ehealth is not. But it's as important and they have a chance

The connection is Aubrey de Grey, he's the founder of SENS Research foundation and one of EHFs team members.
It looks like private investors are starting to show interest in this industry which increases EHealth's chances of success.
I am sure that many whales in the field of pharmacology and medicine will be interested in this project. It's a matter of time, but when you consider that this project abound, the success of the project don't worry!

Will users be able to participate with sharing information's in any way? I know its not planned like that, but it would be really interesting, if it would turn into a kind of wikipedia of health and medicine, where users could contribute to it.
As far as I understood this project it implies a completely different. And self-medication does not lead to anything good!

But they would probably need some research activities in the beginning, right?

SENS is the program where Aubrey De Grey is the chief science officer, so they are linked.

If SENS really linked with ehealth then this is a very good news for this project.
That will be great, im waiting for the ehealth video with Aubrey in the video, im pretty sure it will catch many attentions.

Thanks Nickolay Kryuchkov and EHF Team for this detailed answer.

Also i'm very happy about Aubrey will be on that videos too.

I don't know this Aubrey but he/she seems to be a celebrity in the longevity research. I look forward to the video.

yeah, even I am not sure who this Aubrey is.
Have you read the news? Vitalik Buterin has donated $2.4 million to Aubrey's research foundation.
Vitalik said that he is a fan of Aubrey's work.

It's kinda depressing that there are so many useless coins, tokens and projects that raise tens and even hundreds of millions, but life changing or should I say life enhancing projects struggle to get any money at all.

Hopefully this project will be able to change that. I like the fact that shows you what need to be done without making any empty promising unlike other projects. Im quite confident in the team.
In the long run quality, coins will survive and shitcoins will die out. That's just how things work in this field.

building up a database of informations from anonymous patients for the greater good. not bad.

They could even make it an option to share your own data for Aubreys research even if this is not planned at the moment. Big data would probably help his research of aging.

Yep, if there was an option for me i would have chosen to share.

i would see it kind of like giving blood - donate your data to help others and if you are the one in peril, the blockchain is there for you

On the surface I like what you are saying. There's a big difference between blood and data. Blood will be replaced but  privacy once exposed is gone forever.

There's a battle between privacy advocates and medical data scientists that's stalling research and innovations. They both make good points. Ideally we want to eat the cake and have it.

like someone else said, this could be the ideal partnership with datum for releasing private health informations against cryptomoney Smiley

There are projects that work with the purchase and sharing of data, such as DATUM, they would be excellent partners to reach a large portion of users initially, since they work in several countries. Or the actual sale of data directly on an Ehealth platform
That's true. Partnership are getting more and more important in the ico space. Both projects would benefit from the partnership.

I agree to share our health data, it would be good if there was the option of treating you in a private hospital.
Perhaps after the completion of the eHealth project, they will be able to build a hospital of their own, where people can be treated based on research done within the program.

We should not forget that this may have some negative effects too in case of low level security or a probable hacking into the system. But if it is used for a good purpose then we may see some speedy recovery in health issues.

yeah, but that's what security is for. sharing your data with researchers is a great idea. that's how advancements are made.

Great then, the project has started to meet our expectations. They will plan more collaborations than that, so I think there will be more good news in the future

For now Ehealth is not a research program but you never know what they can do once they get a huge users base and a financial boost. I wouldnt be surprised if they would start their own researches since some of their team members are experts in their fields.

You are right I think many people out there with no professional medical education can contribute a lot of useful information.
yeah thats what the blockchain will be made of. and then the team can compare the data of patient A and get similar patients back
