if the seller needs to change the price because the buyer has bargained with them, can they sell with SelfPay?
With SelfPay, the seller is actually in control of the amount they want to be paid.Having an item in their inventory does not mean they have to sell it for the price indicated.
They are able to change the price on the spot and send you the payment link reflecting that new price.
The interface has been made simple so it is quick and easy to understand.

Why do you think people are not just ok with getting cash from an ATM ?
We're not claiming we will replace ATMs all at once.
But people are aware that, when they use an ATM, fees can be very high, especially if you use an ATM outside of your home network or abroad.
Hong Kong would charge you between USD 2 to USD 4.
Even Vietnam who has as low as USD 1.3 fees cannot compete with SelfPay fees since it is never above 0.4¢.

We believe that, for a number of tourists travelling in Southeast Asia, being able to use electronic payments will be very attractive.
You do not need to carry too much cash with you, and avoid handing over the wrong amount of money when you pay because you do not know the currency very well. It feels safer and more convenient.
And ATMs charge outrageous fees when you're abroad. Another reason why people will prefer to shop at merchants making use of payment aggregator.

It will be useful cause when I travel rarely get cash with me and if I have the possibility to pay a taxi with my mobile it won't be necessary to get cash to pay it.

What are the social vendors you talk about in the whitepaper?
In Southeast Asia, many people sell via Facebook or Instagram for example. They are very good platforms to display pictures of the products you sell, descriptions, and basically allows you to not have to invest money and time into developing an ecommerce platform. The only issue right now for these sellers is payment.
They often have to either meet face to face to collect the money in cash, or ask for a bank transfer, wait until the transfer appears, then send the goods. It is a tedious process.
On the other side, people buying from social sellers can’t use their credit card, and if they can’t afford that good they want so much, will give up.
SelfPay would allow the social sellers to just have to send a payment link to the buyer and in a minute, they can confirm the payment and send the item. Buyers can also use their credit card and acquire a good even if they do not have the funds yet.
