Time to buy up some cheap COSS again before COSS 2.0 goes into full swing. I know Rune is always active in the Fintech sphere in Singapore and Asia, so he has connections to make the exchange work. I wish I had sold at the top when it had reached three bucks but nevermind, it's a good chance now to buy again another bag, set and forget until we get another bull run late 2019/2020 hopefully. This is a nice little project and not on many people's radar but owning a bag of COSS at these very low prices can't really hurt anyone's portfolio and can be a good addition of the low cap coinia you want to collect for those sudden price surges.
the market is not good, but the COSS tokens have not been affected too deeply, the stable price from a few months ago was $ 0.05-0.07 this is very good for token holders, moreover COSS 2.0 will launch, I hope the bullrun for COSS is coming soon

A long time ago I bought COSS at Ether Delta. A few days ago I've tried to send a test amount to an exchange but it doesn't seem to arrive.

What could be the cause? Did you switch chain/tokens?

There was a tokens swap from ERC20 to ERC223: https://hype.codes/coss-token-upgrades-erc223 and https://medium.com/@coss.io/frequently-asked-questions-65466bbe4975

The current contract address is: 0x9e96604445ec19ffed9a5e8dd7b50a29c899a10c
You can see the contract page at Etherscan here: https://etherscan.io/token/0x9e96604445ec19ffed9a5e8dd7b50a29c899a10c

If you bought COSS at Etherdelta, you may have purchased the old (and worthless) ERC20 token. Check the contract address for your COSS token to check this.

Well I assume it's still the ERC20 token I possess else I would be able to send it to HitBTC. That means I've spent about $4000 in Ethereum at that time,
and now you are telling me it vanished for good? Or is there still an option to switch to the ERC223?
Keep your question! I have a small amount of these tokens in my ers20 wallet. I did not know that it was necessary to swap tokens for erc223. What should I do now?

The stock exchange is scheduled to delist several tokens, namely Somidax (SMDX), Blockpool (BPL) and Hydrominer (H2O). All couples will be excluded, and wallets will be closed on December 2. It is necessary to make a conclusion of these tokens SMDX, BPL, H2O from their balance sheets until December 2.

If COSS is another smart contract now and you purchased ERC20 COSS which has another smart contract maybe you lost your money, but it's just a guess, my opinion

In today's market there are actually many projects that can be found that somehow develop and refine their product. However, the correction does not allow the coin to grow.
In general, the COSS is developing quite well, and it shows. If the team does not abandon the project - on a global reversal it can be a good shot.
bullish signal for COSS, the chart will skyrocket, from $ 0.05 now to $ 0.1, I am happy to see developments in prices from COSS, but unfortunately today the COSS has dropped as far as 5%,

developments in price, really? Cheesy don't you wanna see the much better development  of their product? looks like marketing team is working terrible... total trading volume isn't bigger than $500k right now.. and mostly shitcoins/tokens are trading here.

I understand that COSS tokens provide a passive revenue coming from the fees paid by users on the exchange, and if I understand well the dividends are paid in the currencies which get traded on the platform? Or in COSS tokens? Moreover, to get this dividend should one keep the tokens parked in the one owns account in the exchange or in one owns wallet, like MEW?

You have both options actually. The most easy way would be to keep your COSS tokens on the exchange in your COSS wallet (there is only one, so you cant mess that one up). Each week theres a snapshot of the coss distribution (sunday eve) and then they distribute the dividends accordingly (around tuesday or wednesday). The dividend has an own tab in your coss exchange account and it will show your share. once you have accumulated enough shares of a certain coin, you can chose to distribute it to your exchange wallet for trading. For each coin you will pay distrbition transaction fee in eth because thats how tokens work. so make sure you have enough share of a coin before paying it out. you can accumulate indefinitly before paying it out.

the other option is to go on your exchange account, go to the distribution tab or whats it called, and setup your MEW account, so your distribution will be made to your MEW account. have never done that so i can not help you there. but it should be described there....

COSS.IO October 10th updates
COSS 2.0 will be a completely new world-class exchange. The core of any exchange is the matching engine. We’ve created a world-leading matching engine; we’re talking sub-microsecond order matching. That’s less than 1,000,000th of a second! So we can process over 1,000,000 orders per second on a server with a 2.2 GHz CPU. We can scale by applying a single matching engine per pair, therefore with ( example) 70 pairs, we’re talking a potential 70 million orders per second! https://medium.com/@coss.io/coss-io-october-10th-updates-4d0f6f03ab75

this improvement will make coss to stand in line with world-class exchange like binance or bittrex. but how about costumer service and fiat integration? there are many problem that need solution
it still takes a long time and a good development if COSS wants to pass binance and bittrex, because currently for the COSS exchanger it is still very low in volume, accounting for only 93 BTC, COSS need hard work!

At the present time with so many crypto-exchanges, it is difficult to achieve popularity, but nevertheless, exchanges are created and find their customers, and for this you do not need to have special conditions for trading, you just have to have a good feast advertising company of the exchange.

The key word here is "will be". If COSS team  wish to see us  on their exchange , they will need to increase both the speed of development  and assistance at helpdesk, as so often promised.

What about the payments system? It's part of "one stop crypto solution" thing, are they developing it or they're working only on the exchange? (iirc they said that they want work on one thing at time but maybe I'm wrong)

Potential 70 million orders per second and it will be very fast! Maybe your constant improvements  will attract traders to your platform and the trading volume will increase.
