I still son't get why a landlord would do an auction. Yes this whole thing looks very good for renters but about landlords, I don't know
For me its the other way round. Imo landlords would profit even more. They can set a minimum rent they want at least and then can use the platform to look out for tenants who would be willing to pay more.
I also think that landlords will benefit more from rent auction. They did a research in Melbourne and tenants pay 50$ more for rent if they bid for it. And i guess landlords can abuse this system a little by posting fake bids. I know they will be fighting against it, but its very hard to compliantly remove this from the equation.

you cannot force customers to pay more than they're willing to. if the customer are willing to pay inflated prices, then it's not a bad thing. we all make choices with our money.
I also think that its a very cunning thing and perhaps the developer should prevent this thing.
Yes its all a choice from the tenants themselves to buy or not, but its really feel bad to know that the landlords are toying with the price and the tenants

All just simple. If this will be a good house (hotel room, flat) and in a good place - its will be in demand, and price will be high. If this will be an old house in bad district - than price ll be low. Right?

The price will be based on will intention of renter, the more people want a house the more the price will go up, the price will be more logical with the market. Landlord will have a more accurate price and maybe if they can't rent their house at the price they put it in other platform. With relest they will be able to have a balanced price and rent it faster.

Thats just great!
Usually the rating will go down when the ICO starts. But this is great for the start of this platform.
This will be noticed by a lot of investors.

Why rating must going down after ICO beginning? By which criteria they estimate project?

That's a problem every bidding platform is facing. It's up to how good they will protect the platform from fake bidding, but I agree, you probably never can protect it 100%.

Especially in cities where space is rare people will pay more. I had the same with friends, who moved together recently. Because they couldn't find an apartment to move togehter (students in a student city), they had to take a really overpriced one. What I want to say? You don't need an auction for overprice something.
With this auction system you also should have the chance to rent something much cheaper then you would be up to pay in the end. Well at least that should be also possible.

Though the platforms offers few advantage to tenants, it mostly tip in favor of the landlord, and if widely adopted with easily facilitate the gentrification of neighborhoods.

That's great. Relest is on the right path inclusing everyone who believe in this project.
wow very high rating so that means the people belive in this ico and project have solid bases...
Icobench is becoming more popular lately, well-organized information/content.
And the rating there is always changing, that means their admin is very active.

I didn't know about Icoench, the article is very concise and to the point, and show exactly what relest is, no more no less, although I was expecting a little more information, it's enough for now, the more articles there is the more people will know about Relest Cheesy.

Both landlords and tenants will eventually benefit in using Relest auction platform offering its end users a win - win situation for both.
