Currently I only care about the liquidity of the coin

It is not live yet, so I doubt that we'll know about liquidity soon. I hope some of the founders shed more light though (if they read the forum here) Smiley

Do I have to add active nodes for syncing wallet?

I don't think so. I didn't add any nodes and it syncs perfectly fine for me.

I mined on this pool : http://koto.mypool.tokyo/ but it seems down for now. I will wait a few moments to see if this pool will return.

Here is a step-by-step tutorial how to mine Koto on Windows 10 PC:

Disclaimer: all the links are taken from the official page here; also you must turn off anti virus program or create exceptions otherwise you wont be able to use koto miner and wallets.

1. Get a wallet

- online one can be registered from here:
https://makewallet.online/

- downloadable wallet can be taken from here:
https://github.com/koto-dev/koto/releases/tag/171224

1.1. Make sure you have latest Java installed on PC
1.2. Run the .bat file and wait for it to finish install (will take some time)
1.3. Execute the WalletUI.jar if you have lates Java this will happen with one click. If not, you need to create a separate .bat file in order to run it with this inside the .bat file
- java -jar KotoSwingWalletUI.jar
1.4. Click the bat file and you will have a wallet ON

2. Choose a pool

2.1. This one is in Europe but very weak:
http://kotopool.top/

2.2. Stronger one in Japan
http://koto.poolof.work:8080/

2.3. The strongest I found (again Japan)
https://kotopool.work:8080

3. Get a miner

- not compiled
https://github.com/koto-dev/cpuminer-yescrypt

- compiled (I use it, hopefully I am not also miningfor someone else too Smiley
http://d.koto.cash/kotominers_2017_last_ver.zip

3.1. Create a .bat file and inside enter your data, for example:
minerd_nehalem.exe -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://jp.kotopool.work:3333 -u wallet address, must start with k1 -p random password

3.2. Start the .bat file and enjoy, a normal laptop gives around 1-2 kh/s

Let me know if any questions

Really guys, who care if it's Japanese or Vietnamese. 21st century, globalization. That's not an advantage for coin. Dropping country-related part of coin name will make it look more mature, IMO.

I agree with this. Just drop the Japanese part and develop a cool anon crypto called KOTO. You will be way better off.

i need your advice about how to mining koto on the pc. the spesification of my pc are :
intel atom,
ram 1 gb.,
DDR2
windows 7 32 bit
is my pc support to mining koto, sir ?
iam newbie about mining.  Smiley

Download the miner from the official site.
Create a wallet

Then extract the miner folder and create a text file
include this
Quote
minerd_IvySandy.exe -a yescrypt -o stratum+tcp://jp.kotopool.work:3333 -u -p x -t 1

there are 4 .exe files. you can use either 4 files names instead of minerd_IvySandy.exe

then save this file as .bat file
i save it as start.bat . you can chose any file name. once done double click on the batch file

I got a new pool setup last night if anyone cares to help me test it out. Central Time Zone server, 16 Cores, 12GB RAM, Ubuntu Server.  I will be redesigning the front end this weekend on a test server and moving the frontend to a dedicated server of its own to account for scalability.  The stratum server can be scaled up to 48 Cores and 64GB if needed.

If anyone has ANY issues with the server please feel free to contact me directly [email protected].  Or my personal email [email protected] This will come through to my phone.

does koto cpu mining only? i am small gpu miner ,so i am be out of this project ?

There's some results of mining yescript on GPU and CPU:
– Intel Core i7 5820K CPU: 5.22 KHS
– AMD Radeon R9 280X GPU: 0.793 KHS
– Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 GPU: 1.124 KHS

I think, GPU mining is not necessary in that moment.

I would like to know as well if this works with GPU or purely CPU. Interested in putting in a bit of hashpower into this project.
