Good work, except your hashrate seems a bit low.

You should get approx. 5300khash/s per 75oTi stock clocks with release 1.2

You can also try newest release and if I remember correctly jackpot algo was also improved:

Lets just wait what the new dev is working on. A good coin will automatically create value Smiley

I'm sure the new dev's work will make JackpotCoin much more valuable and I'm grateful we have a new dev.

EDIT: I basically have a wallet with a bunch of coins that I can't do nothing with.

Edit II: So I took the wallet .dat out of the appdata folder and the wallet works fine. Put it back in and I get the errors again.

Yes you can. Start fresh wallet and when it is at full sync, transfer all coins in old wallet to that new address...

...and happy staking.

What do you mean by "transfer"?

I replaced the wallet dat with my wallet dat with the coins but still have issues.

It seems to be the wallet dat file is causing problems. I can remove the wallet dat file and re-run the wallet and let it create a new wallet dat file and everything works fine. I replace that new one with my old (coins) and the issues happen.

Listen.

Just start fresh new wallet and send all your coins from your old troublesome "hard to stake" address to that brand new address, with operation "send coins" within wallet.

I hope you understand what I mean.

Nice to see the volume picking up lately.  Some other alts are coming back with the rise in BTC it looks like.  Maybe faith in crypto will come back?....until the next mintpal/moolah-level scam at least?

Now if only we could get a few guys to buy us up to 10 satoshi  Grin

10 satoshis would be great! Only a few BTC to go on Bittrex... and we would come back firmly in the Top 100 on coinmarketcap.

Why is the Jackpot amount stuck at 2027555 for the past few days?

Sometimes the jackpot takes a while to be found once it maxes out.  Haven't done the math to see what the max would be now, but that could be it.

@antonio8

How many coins do you have in the wallet?

Also try 'repairwallet' in the console...

5 million

I'll try that again if I can get the wallet to work without freezing.

Sorry if I'm missing something here, but the original dev has walked, a new dev has stepped up to the plate, and a new wallet will be released soon, is that correct?

That's right! As for the release date, it should be at the end of the month, or at the start of February.

For new plans and features, we're still contemplating what's best to do and how to give more value to the coin. What is sure is that JackpotCoin's maintenance will be ensured now.

Is there any kind of plans documented anywhere of what the new dev plans to do with JPC?
