Today, I learned two things.

1) I was using the miner that is optimized by moron.

ah I missed that one.  Grin What a douche-bag  Grin
(please refrain from using my miner, it could make you a little more open minded... and less full of shit...
I am glad you didn't donate, I would have refused it  Grin You really are not the guy helping crypto... but just trying to make profit with free stuff and even trying to screw other people if you can make more... basically you are a parasite) Grin

Mr I know I am right because I am never wrong.  Grin

Oh, and I'd recommend jpcdice.com if you're looking to play around with your jpc, especially if you're looking to invest.

Really sorry to interrupt guys.

I cannot seem to get any POS coins and I was hoping someone could point out where I made a mistake.

Wallet is open at all times.
Wallet is encrypted but UNLOCKED.
Have coins sitting in there for 3 full days.
Wallet states 0 staked 0 unconfirmed.

Do I need to add anything to the JPC.conf or something? Just not sure what I missed. Thanks for the help.

The more coins you have the quicker they will stake (after they reach the 24 hr minimum age).  Your chance to stake is relative to the total coins available to stake.  Each day that your coins do not stake their "stake weight" increases by the original amount.

For example:  you have 100k coins that are 24 hours old, your "stake weight" is 100k x 1 = 100k.  6 days later they still haven't staked but your stake weight is now 100k x6 = 600k.  Your chance to stake is now 6x higher than it was when your coins first matured.  If your coins had staked on the first day you would have received 100 coins as a reward.  If they stake on the 6th day you will receive 600.  The percentage returned by staking is cumulative to a max of 100 days.  If your 100k coins stake on the 44th day, you will receive 4,400.

Be aware that moving coins around may reset your staking age.  Use the coin control feature to monitor the age on your coins.  http://wiki.hobonickels.info/index.php?title=Coin_Control#Tutorial has a very nice description on how to use the coin control.

In a nutshell, the more coins you own the quicker they will stake upon reaching maturity.

If I made an error, I'm sure someone will point it out  Grin

Check your anti-p2p activities (PeerBlock, Antiviruses, etc). I've noticed that highly blocking system may interrupt the PoS.
F.e. I gotta use my wallet with PeerBlock option "allow HTTP", also try to add JPC nodes (the ones on 1st page of this topic) to the "allowed" list in PB or your antivirus/firewall.
Turn off such programs for one day, just for checkig. If it helps. Then find the program that block PoS.

I'm gonna clean up this town
Damn MEGAmoron found our thread, use that ignore button people. Go back to trolling SilkCoin. Roll Eyes

Anyway, I actually like the fact the coin didn't pump in MintPal, a good stable price > pump & dump. The stability of price is reassuring. Smiley

Yeah because I was so wrong about Silkcoin, right?
