Your price is very far from reality.
You can see the real market price here.

https://meanxtrade.com/trade/btc/lcc
https://meanxtrade.com/trade/ltc/lcc

For 0.137 BTC and 18.34 LTC (it is about 0.37 BTC)   I bought today 4481.21 LCC

0,507 BTC = 4481 LCC

Hi mate, Can I ask you something? What willing you to invested huge money in this coin(0.5btc considered huge investment for me), What's potential you see in this coin? and the last question: what's your price predicted in nearly future like 3-6 months period?

One simple reason. I believe in it.
I mine LCC too. About 150 THs , which at the current price is pointless and is cheaper to buy LCC , as mine.

But I support this money. So I mine.
I do not predict the LCC price. I let things happen.

I just found out after LTC fork from my https://yobit.net/ some money, wth the name KRAK In value 1.2 LTC. I last used this exchange in 2015.
So things just happen.

Litecoin Cash has 90% cheaper transaction fees than Litecoin.

Isn't that significant  Huh

the first fork usually got much more attention,
just like Bcash. hold a little longer until this fork listed on some good exchange

perhaps bcash is rogerkver's trash, but still it is a free money  Grin

What exactly does Charlie have to do with any of this?

He was pretty vocal about calling the fork a scam, so I thought I was taking the cautious route by waiting to see how things got off the ground.  Looks like that's my loss, but hopefully the fork goes well.
History has shown that these sorts of things end up being a scam or simply never really going anywhere. Using the name of the coin that it's forked from is usually the first sign. How many people remember litecoindark? I made some money out of that one but as soon as I saw the writing on the wall so to speak, I got out.

Typically theses things go the route of, devs come across as serious people with real plans, coin gets released, there's an initial pump and dump where many will then disappear. Sometimes it will go for a bit longer and then there's a much bigger pump and dump.. After which they usually disappear leaving a bunch of bag holders. Then there might be a community take over and a slow death. It's POW so it has a better chance of keeping itself going than a POS coin. But who knows, maybe these guys will be the exception.

Or is anyone interested in a direct trade for BTC? 10,000 LCC for 3.8BTC. Under market price right now. Bitrated multisig escrow. Since the transfer could be verified on the blockchain, it would be a safe trade.

You bought so you expect the price to go up. Do you guys think this would be a good investment in long term?

Who can predict the long term price action of a new forked coin?  LCC is the first fork of LTC which has that going for it and LCC has a very smart development team behind it.  Anyone adopting LTC for a payment system will be interested in LCC as it has the same transaction speed but at 90% less transaction cost.  If you think altcoins will increase their market cap in the future and there will be more mainstream use, then there is a good chance some of that money will end up in LCC.

Before we talk of exchange can we help other members like me on how to sync their litecoincash wallet, it will take me a year or two before I can finally sync my wallet, by then this coin is dead I am stuck to 6 years to go since day one.

Download bootstrap.dat from the Litecoin Cash website, unzip and put it in data dir, when sync is finished you can delete it.

Name a text file litecoincash.conf, insert the following and copy it to data dir.

Code:
addnode=91.128.161.204
addnode=73.232.159.131
addnode=69.123.49.160
addnode=178.200.236.205
addnode=66.69.246.134
addnode=192.30.85.23
addnode=37.14.134.175
addnode=195.68.203.237
addnode=189.216.159.2
addnode=209.205.125.118
addnode=76.97.160.198
addnode=71.197.52.238

You'll be able to sync your node in a few hours.

Thanks for the info, but where do I find the data directory? I'm working on a MacBook and according to litecoinca.sh I should put it in ~/Library/Application Support/litecoincash. But in the folder /Application Support there is no folder /litecoincash. I did use the default installation. A search command for 'litecoincash' doesn't give me any results. Hope you can help me out. Thanks a lot!

1. Open litecoincash qt wallet then quit it
2. In Finder go to Menu > G0 > Go To Folder
3 Paste in      ~/Library/Application Support
4. Scroll down to liteconcash folder

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but is the qt wallet the same as LitecoinCash Core? That's the one I'm using (I downloaded it from litecoinca.sh). Thanks again!

no problem. Took me ages to figure it out. Yes its the same thing. If your wallet is unresponsive after syncing just quit it and open it again, it will sync again then be fine.

No massive hurry cos no exchanges are taking lcc deposits yet.

Thanks a lot for your help. I managed to find the data directory and copied both the bootstrap file and the text file you mentioned. Then I opened the wallet and it started to sync. Had to quit and reopen the wallet once or twice, but after that it was up to date.

Thank you.... this was super helpful.  I had already downloaded the bootstrap.dat file.  The node list added to the .conf file seems to have worked and I am syncing the headers now (should be done in 2 hours).

why is LCC 0.00012000 BTC on meanxtrade and 0.00049999 BTC on Yobit. That's x4 difference.
Yobit it is just a scam price, but Meanxtrade is legit. You can send, trade and withdraw any amount LCC you want there. So the real price now is below 1 usd! So this is the price I expected to be since the fork day. 10 usd it was just a scam, no deposit, no withdrawal, no access to trading. I think they traded between themself just for the sake of being perceived as successful fork.

Could be. But meanxtrade could also be the first place open for trading and everyone that got free LCC and don't care about it are dumping it for 1/10th what it might be trading at in a couple weeks.

Does anyone know of any exchanges accepting deposit for trade? I have 11,000+ LCC I want to sell now. Yobit is not currently allowing deposits. Other supposed exchanges aren't even listing it.

meanxtrade.com has been mentioned before.

For any newbs out there, it may be best to avoid the above exchange.  I've NEVER heard of it before now. Probably best to wait to see if any of the more established exchanges list LCC in the coming weeks, and do your trading then. Sure, the price might go down before that happens but at least you probably won't lose all of your LCC that way.

it's because litecoincash is in early stage wait for a few weeks more and exchange will adopt this coin but the developers should do their move too, to get this on popular exchange like Bittrex and Binance, if they accept bitcoin fork coin why not a litecoin fork coin.
