Before we talk of exchange can we help other members like me on how to sync their litecoincash wallet, it will take me a year or two before I can finally sync my wallet, by then this coin is dead I am stuck to 6 years to go since day one.

Download bootstrap.dat from the Litecoin Cash website, unzip and put it in data dir, when sync is finished you can delete it.

Name a text file litecoincash.conf, insert the following and copy it to data dir.

Code:
addnode=91.128.161.204
addnode=73.232.159.131
addnode=69.123.49.160
addnode=178.200.236.205
addnode=66.69.246.134
addnode=192.30.85.23
addnode=37.14.134.175
addnode=195.68.203.237
addnode=189.216.159.2
addnode=209.205.125.118
addnode=76.97.160.198
addnode=71.197.52.238

You'll be able to sync your node in a few hours.

Thanks for the info, but where do I find the data directory? I'm working on a MacBook and according to litecoinca.sh I should put it in ~/Library/Application Support/litecoincash. But in the folder /Application Support there is no folder /litecoincash. I did use the default installation. A search command for 'litecoincash' doesn't give me any results. Hope you can help me out. Thanks a lot!

Hello,

Please help, my LCC wallet is showing balance 0. Private key was already imported and rescan was run.

LCC Explorer is showing correct LCC balance for my LTC address https://explorer.litecoinca.sh/address/.......

I had LTC at the fork time on my Ledger nano so I had to re-generate private key with "Mnemonic Code converter"

What I did to get private key:
  • entered 24 words in BIP39 Mnemonic (https://iancoleman.io/bip39/)
  • coin: LTC
  • derivation path: BIP49
  • then I found my address in first column and copied its private key from third column (this address is showing LCC balance https://explorer.litecoinca.sh/address/.......)
  • imported private key into fully synced LCC wallet (10 nodes connected)
  • exited wallet and restarted it with -rescan parameter

Balance is still showing zero. Any ideas?

When I look in the transaction https://explorer.litecoinca.sh/tx/...... it says my balance was "Not yet redeemed"

Thank you in advance!

LCC transaction explorer says that balance was transferred to my 3-address https://imgur.com/w4hBJJo
This 3-address is mine but i cant find private key for it. I can only find private key fore M-address (which is the same as 3-address with P2SH Converter) but imported key does not show balance.

Please help....  I cant find which private key to import Undecided

Wish I had known about adding nodes in a config file - would have saved time! (all up and running now tho)

EDIT: NVMIND, I got it going by switching to another network. Apparently the first one had blocked ports(?), but it works now, so if anyone has trouble, suggest check your firewall...

I was successfully able to claim my LCC and can see it in the wallet, but I'm having trouble keeping wallet synced. Says Connecting to Peers and doesn't get to 100%. This is a mac. I want to be able to send to a new wallet, but not sure that will work if I'm not 100% synced?

I have a litcoincash.conf file with bunch of nodes added and wallet connection alternates from 2 to 4 to 0 connections, but stuck at 99.62% right now. Hard to believe that with all the nodes below, I can't get to 100% synced...

Anyone else stuck unable to sync? Any ideas to resolve this?

Yes, you will need a LCC wallet to get LCC coins using your LTC private keys.   To be safe move your LTC to a temporary wallet and sweep the LTC private keys from the empty LTC wallet  in to the LCC wallet.  Once you are done you can move your LTC  back to the original wallet.  Result is 2 wallets. One with LTC and one with LCC. Good Luck!!!

wow dude, when we don't know we don't give advice, specialy about security

you need a new wallet, don't send back your ltc in the wallet where you provided the  private key for claim your lcc
this advice works for any fork coin
may be the team is legit, but why takes so much risk?
you need less 5mn for create a new wallet

Yup, those keys are compromised for good.

This exchange exists since a week ago or so, I can't even find ANN in the forum...

Yes it's a very new exchange and he is learning but he has the teams support and guidance. Had a hiccup today but what little community exists came together and resolved the issue pretty quickly.

It's the only "reliable" exchange we have right now and if you want to dump, I don't blame you in this bear market. We will see you all on the other side. Be safe everyone.
Personally i wouldnt touch this exchange with a barge pole and suggest everyone thinks the same too. Are you helping people in support or are you trying to get noobs to risk and deposit to this new exchange ? You say you know the owner, who is he and also why hasnt he got an ANN before accepting coins.?
I agree with you, this is a new exchange and it's important that it has an official announcement here so people can review how good this exchange is, we might end up getting scam, this is the first time I read about this exchange and I have second thought doing a trade here

When you move the LTC back to the original wallet new private keys are generated. You don't use the old keys (so there was nothing wrong with my advice!)
For security, yes I agree using a "burner" wallet to hold LTC would work too.
When you're saying "wallet", people are going to assume you mean to send them back to the same address (which is the same key)... Thus why the other guy made his post. You need to be crystal clear about this stuff.

Is there a safe way to export LCC from Trezor wallet?
I'm going to assume you mean getting your LTC private key out of a Trezor in order to import it into the LCC wallet to get access to those.

Review these posts and good luck.

Does anyone has any idea when yobit will be accepting lcc deposits?

LCC core wallet synchronized
LTC moved to a new adress
LCC claimed with the private key

ok, now, where can we trade LCCs?  Huh

You can now exchange BTC to LCC in

https://meanxtrade.com/
https://meanxtrade.com/trade/btc/lcc

Is it accepting deposits?
