Get ready for an incoming dump from hashcows on the exchange.  I would recommend that the exchange look for a mass deposit/sell of somewhere in the region of 40m coins per 24 hours and IP ban the depositor.  Multipools kill the value of all ALTs eventually. Nothing manages to achieve any decent value due to the mindless pricks that use these multipools.  0.007 btc a day per MHs is it now the multipools are on, will look to mine something else now the multipool tossers have arrived.

i will contact coinmarket.io. maybe they are open to this idea.

You could always make it so it says say a hours transactions in one send, rather than sending instant.  Wouldn't be much of a code change either.
I could do that as a temporarily solution.
But this does need to get fixed if we want to move forward as a community with a bug free client/wallet.
(still not sure if this is an actual bug though)

imperative... i should go to sleep... i know... but can you zipup your debug.log and send it to [email protected] / put it for download and pm me the link.

i will have a look at it if i can find something out of the ordinary

thanks

http://leafcoin-faucet.majorminer.co.uk/ FAUCET UPDATE: Now working again

I was message by a couple of people telling me there was a problem with payouts, it turns out the wallet wasn't sending the payments to the blockchain for the last 2 days.  I have replaced the wallet file and it is now working again.

I've put the old wallet on another PC and it's slowly processing the backlog, so you should get them over the next few days.
Odd, I am having the exact same issue.
Perhaps there's a bug in the wallet itself that acts up when a lot of transactions are going through at the same time.
I guess the dev should have a look at this.

Mine happened when I did a "hot swap" wallet update, so guess it was my own fault.  To fix I removed wallet.dat to another pc to process slowly and started with a fresh one on the faucet, which is now working as normal again.  Not ideal, but gets the job done.

Hope that helps.
The weird thing is that I didn't do any of that. It just started processing transactions slower and slower, till now where it takes more than a day.
I tried to send the entire server wallets balance to my own wallet (which was the dumbest idea ever) and now the coins are stuck.
I guess I'll try your suggestion and move the wallet to another machine. I'll keep you guys updated on how this turns out.

Anyways, sadly, my leafcoin faucet will not be usable until this is resolved.
Unless of course, someone is kind enough to send me a donation so that I can just start over with a fresh wallet :3

also experiencing problems with the faucet at http://leafcoin.tk - not connecting to server anymore - suspended until solution is found

Or you could just ip ban the account that deposits the number of coins they mine.

thanks for your response bittick

No problem, just wanted to clear the air...
Please do let me know if you decide that you want to be listed.

In my humble opinion, I already did the maths. I find NO EXCUSE as fees, because I already mentioned it that going from FIAT -> Crypto is more expensive than normal, and all of us here know why, in 50$ dollars fees over a 68$ sale. You are actually selling an item worth 18$ at 68$, and no fee in the world can justify this. If you go through manual fixing of prices and not automated one (as your site may lead to think, since there are dynamic graphs), then OR you just missed a few WEEKS worth of updates, or you are just deliberately keeping the price high. And it's not a different treatment for LEAFCoin that would let me think otherwise. UNTIL all coins respect a SPECIFIC change, and you give more transparency to your sales (because instead, now it seems the price of the coin is that shown, while it does in fact iinclude all the running cost), then you'll get my trust.

Until then, I am not calling you a scam exchange, simply because you are not an exchange, but as they said, "a random guy selling coins at his own price"

And a "random guy" putting a new coin for triple, quatruple the real value on sale, it's NOT an accomplishment for the life of the coin.

This is my opinion. Let's see if you can make it change Smiley

WPP ENERGY - BACKED ASSET GREEN ENERGY TOKEN
When will LEAF be on coinmarketcap? I think that is really important for the promotion before we raise the price by buying thousands of dollars worth of LEAF.

Coinmarketcap --------> Coinwarz -----------> Multipools ----------> Coin dead  Wink  IMO

I see a huge sell walls. I don't know what to do. We can wait some time (several weeks) till coin become strong and then be listed on main exchanges or we can be listed now, but it may damage coin much...

This has been done by hashcows/middlecoin may be They have been mining the shit of leaf and dumping them

How does hashcows and middlecoin dump?  Do they accumulate a ton of coins coins then sell them all or are they sold immediately as their are mined?

It is impossible cause coinmarket.io don't have api and no one multipool can check profitability that is why we under their radars. Middlecoin has >20 Gh/s, if you will see that hashrate increased on 10-20 Gh/s, then yeap, that is multipools, but now it is not.

You are wrong. It is currently being mined on hashco.ws

Wtf, how did they do that? How they got profitability???

Maybe they know the near future.

I'm just trying to think of a creative way to restrict them from effecting the market so much.  Maybe restrict deposits to under 1mil or charge a huge fee for deposits over like 5mil.  You could send them in increments to get around it, but the pools probably don't have the capability to do that.
