and also not letting bounty hunters know they will be required to do the KYC thing too before entering their campaign
Well, this is a bit bad if you ask me, cus most people that can not participate in ico due to one reason or the other use bounty hunting as a way to get a few token, it will be very disappointing if at the end, they are unable to claim their tokens due to not meeting up with the KYC requirements, I think the livestars team should rethink

If you look back over the last few pages, the livestars account has skipped over the concerns. I wouldnt hold my breathe for a response. Let's come back to my post in 24 days and see if I'm right about a crapstorm of scam allegations when people don't get their bounties.
I simply want them to handle this sooner than later. As an investor, I'm not sure what worries me more. The fact they changed the rules AFTER people did the work or the fact they could not plan this properly which makes me a bit concerned on leadership ability.
Disclaimer: I own quite a bit of Livestars during the 30% bonus time and completed no bounties. We just need to be willing to call bs in this community, even if it can negatively impact our own personal investments.

Checking for bounty hunters has already become the norm and I just do not be surprised that it was entered! I think in a short time all companies will conduct such checks and this is good for real users - they will receive more, and multi-accounts will be rejected!
Having people do the work and then require KYC is not a surprise? Cool.. feel free to come paint my house and then I will change our agreement after u do the work.
I have no problem with people deciding to skip a bounty project because they don't want their confidential information being sent for a few dollars. The free market will decide. Requiring KYC AFTER is the issue people have with the approach.

hi dev, i was wondering about the proof of address.. do we have to send a utility bill? even if out address is already indicated in our IDs?

The documents that are used for ID and address verification should be different. You can use your passport as the address identification but the first document should be different.
I dont have passport. I only have one government id card.
Now my concern is i cant have those other documents like utility bill because its not my name who is in the document. It is my father's.

You can use your ID card as well.
Requirements for documents:
All sides of the document should be seen in the photo.
The document should take over 50% or more of the frame.
The picture should be clear, without blur and glare.
Use good light with no shapes.
Photo size must have more or 1MP, the size of scanned copies — more or 150 dpi.
Both color and black-and-white documents are accepted
Do not open an image with any graphics editors, because it may be considered as a fraudulent act.

International Passport,
Driver license,
ID card.
II. Proof of address
It can be: Utility Bill, Bank statement, Tax invoices, Internet provider bill, Bank contract, Other government issued residential statements/certificates.

Lol, this is the first time ever I see a KYC being organized for bounty participants and guess this paperwork is going to be a long process with so many people in the campaign.You guess will have to wait long for your tokes to arrive after KYC gets completed and verified.
Maybe I'm missing something. I'm not happy about it, but I think it's kinda obvious. Based on possible upcoming regulations, especially with their high risk profile industry, I would guess lawyers are now saying CYA CYA. I don't like it, but it is what it is.
It was a mistake to NOT explain it in detail to the community. They can't just sweep it under the rug that the lawyers told them. Get off your asses, apologize for the way you handled it, and move on. If they fail to do that, it would bite them later on. When that 24 days (or so) timer stops and people can't claim their bounties for work they did.. it's going to be a crapstorm. Are they new to crypto? How do they not know this?
I believe in this project, hopefully they at least address it in a more personalized manner.

With this KYC process everyone who invested will risk personal information to be uploaded over the internet, hackers and phishers are always looking for a victim if your going through this process remember to use information that has no sensitive data on it.

hello dev i have a little concern here regarding the KYC.
my proof of address with is a government issued residential certificates.. now my problem is that my residential certificate have expired last feb 10.
will you still accept it? i cant have a new one since i am out of town. please reconsider besides it is not that long since its expiration date.

Not a smart move, this should have been established prior to launch of the ICO. I have a feeling they knew what the backlash would look like from bounty hunters. Seems shady if you ask me.
I'm not against the KYC, I'm concerned about how they handled it.
