You need to keep in mind, that this is not about a logo, but about a corporate identity. This is a lot of work: Logo, website, wallet, etc. needs to fit. If you want to do it right, you can't pull that off alone, you need a team working closely together. I don't see that happening by making a logo contest.

Why not just make a DApp contest on it's own? The delegates can come to an agreement shelling out part of the forged rewards to it

I to think logo should be changed - the current logo is more appropriate for some kind of "Warcraft" game. Simple, 2D logo (maybe only shadowing) with blue color being the master one.
