1 crypti = not even 1 cent.

Why 1 LISK 1 dollar bottom?

Pls explain, no troll.

Who cares?

I've got 5+ BTC invested for the off-chance that it pumps past ICO value, just so I get to dump it. I can see that happening. What I don't see happening is this project having long-term significance.

There are people calling Ether a scam. Now there's something objectively silly. Vitalik passed every single round of questioning with flying colours. His posts on reddit are so technical that I don't understand a single line, yet I love it. It makes me trust him. It's legit.

But for LISK? How could you possibly carry long-term expectations when it's a 100% copy of another project that isn't even worth 1 cent a piece? Not to mention the logo reminiscent of an 8-bit Atari game and the goofy team pictures.

How does Lisk compare to Paycoin? Paycoin was full of red lights on the way to it's downfall....  I haven't noticed anything comparable.

Paycoin ran it's own cloud mining scam, totally out and out lied about deals with Amazon and other mainstream retailers, promised a bottom floor on price, which any dummy should know is impossible. I haven't seen anything like that from Lisk yet.

Of course there is potential to have a failed project, or an underwhelming price. But I'd say that's way different than falling for the Paycoin scam.

Can someone please let me know - what is the advantage for JavaScript developers to create dApps?  I mean this for Ethereum or Lisk, or any decentralized crypto.  What really is the point?  Is there massive profit potential for developers?

Developers make apps to make money, generally.  If there's money to be made with Lisk dApps, JavaScript developers will naturally be drawn to it.  If there's no money, then what's the method for enticing them?

Not everyone wants to create open-source apps and give them away for free.  There's a reason Apple's App Store attracts so many developers, and yet other app stores and platforms go nowhere.  Is lisk building an App Store akin to Apple's?  Or are you guys who invested in Lisk basically wanting JavaScript developers to get excited by this language for the purpose of your own investment.

Put yourself in a JavaScript developer's shoes - what's in it for them?

P.S. I'm a JavaScript / software engineer myself.

construct new business models around distributed apps and distributed data. disrupt established markets and dominant players.

Now that you've brought up the subject, is there a Developer's Guide?

I've changed my idea, ill buy a Lambo, now the fact is, Black, Orange or White?

buy a nice bicycle instead.

cars are vulgar.

Cars are vulgar, girls are pretentious, meat causes cancer? So to be a modern man you need to ride a bicycle, let men fuck you in the ass and eat vegetables? Thanks, but no. Although I totally appreciate your choice Smiley

Since there's no opportunity to trade prior to hitting the exchanges, I hope marketing funds are used to make a big splash in April. I support the project, I bought my xx amt in BTC.  With weeks away before launch, that's a lot of time for other projects to grab some mindshare.

Every project is the next Bitcoin or next Ethereum. That phrase is tossed around almost as much as fud, troll and shill around here. I'm supporting Lisk on it's own merits. With 5 million in the bank, I can't wait to see the development team that's hired.

Cautiously optimistic.
