5 LSK per block. Every 17 minutes you forge a block (3/h). About 400 LSK a day or 12,000 LSK a month.
So, yearly there will be around 14.5 millions Lisk created by 101 delegate?
This is a great money to get, woow i would like to be a delegate as well! Imagine Lisk worth 1$ and you get 12k Lisk for keeping the network alive?! SICKKK
This would be too much, I hope Lisk team is serious and would lower this to around 5,000 a month.
1.) The average productivity will probably be around 90%, that means you have to remove 10% out of the calculation.
2.) I assume that there will be movement inside the top 101, that means over the year we probably see 300 delegates or more in this position. So every single person earns much less.
3.) You don't have a chance to get into the top 101 if you don't use the collected funds wisely. I.e. for blockchain apps, Lisk projects, faucets, or our internal plans we reveal soon.
The numbers sound a lot more than they are in reality.
Dear Max!
I really want to sponsor projects from my funds, if I can forging on the mainnet. Please can you tell me what funds/projects you recommend for us?
Lisk will do its own fund for all development which will happen in 5 years+. So this is something where you could contribute to. Additionally, all sorts of community projects. LiskNation, all monitors, new projects which come up, blockchain app plans, etc.
You could even dedicate yourself to a task like marketing. That means with 10% you are supporting our fund. With 70% you are buying advertisements and news articles. 20% is for yourself. I think this is something which we could aim for, people have different kinds of skills and as a delegate they can utilise them.

wasn't there also a plan to add more delegates then the initial 101 ?
Yep, this is another topic. Over time we will increase the number of delegates. This won't happen this year though.
