Hi devs, I was wondering where we stand now.. Are we waiting on an audit and if so, what's being done in the background. Any new releases coming soon?

To weird to live To rare to die
LibrexCoin investors, I have some great news to share!

This morning I contacted Dan Metcalf (ATCSecure) about doing a code review/audit of LibrexSend.

Dan replied that he is very interested in reviewing this code and I have turned his contact information over to LibrexCoinDev to get this audit scheduled.

After reviewing the code, Dan will post a full report on his findings, but his services are not free, as this is very time consuming.

We need to raise approx 3 BTC from community donations.

Donations for the code review fund can be in btc or Librexcoin, or both.

LXC : address posted at top of OP

BTC : address posted at top of OP

The coin address's posted are held by our Dev, so lets be generous and help him defray the cost of this Audit!

Remember there is no pre-mine and this audit benefits all investors in LibrexCoin.

Let's keep the coin spinning here Crypto's, I believe were about half way. Don't forget to donate if you haven't , as well as vote  for librex @ BTER  Grin

I believe to stake them all at once, you will have to send all the coins in any of multiple addresses you may have, to one address. Then all those coins are one "block" of coins, therefore all have the same stake age, therefore all stake at the same time. Someone with more technical knowledge feel free to weigh in if i am wrong, as this is how I understand PoS.

You're much more accurate in your explanation. Thank you.

No worries, this PoS model is what has been used in a lot of other PoS coins, so I believe that's how it works. Enjoy your Librex  Cool

So it's possible to stake 100% of your coins at the same time, dropping your spendable coin to zero?

I would say yes but only if you put them on at the same time. so say your wallet has 1 coin this would happen all the time as would 100 or more if they where all deposited at the same moment. But if they are put in the wallet at different times than the whole amount never stakes that I've seen. I've actually made new addresses in the wallet for 4 deposits. each with different coins deposited. I named these adds too so when it stakes it says mined LXCpool1 .00234 and mined lxc2deposit1  .00123 when they stake it says that in the transaction area. It works great to see what coins produced more coins and dust.

Using the windows wallet, how do I stake all of my coins at once? I only seem to get portions of my coins to stake.

You cant stake all the coins at once.  There is an algorithm that decides how many stake at once.  At least thats how I understand it.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you want to stake all your coins at once you should put them all in one wallet.

I'm down to donate, but can anyone make any preliminary comments. Like do we expect the review outcome to be positive? Would obviously be tragic for this initiative to shoot itself in the foot. Everyone remembers the 'sloppy code' BS on cloakcoin

Only way to find out...... DONATE!!!!   Cheesy
