I just caught this, I thought Novaexchange was closing. Guess not! I am currently looking into getting some more exchange listings.

2018-01-14 14:23 - Nova will NOT close its doors!

Honoured customers and crypto currency enthusiasts! You have been told a while ago now that we were planning to close down Nova Exchange in the beginning of 2018. We made this tough decision because Nova Exchange was growing at a speed, and in a way, that us, the founders, could not keep up with and run the business in a meaningful and secure way. Not wanting to make promises we might not be able to keep, we didn’t tell anyone, not anyone, that we never stopped looking for a way to keep going and keep Nova Exchange in business. So! We are so happy to announce that we have found a partner, a new main shareholder, willing and more importantly, able to carry on running Nova Exchange. The new owners, we have made sure, have the resources and the experience (6+ years in the business) it takes to provide excellent service to you all. We started negotiations and talks early in November last year, and now we can tell you the good news: The show will go on! More information will follow. In the meantime, just go keep on trading crypto. Best Wishes to you all!

Ok. So I mined this coined long long time ago. Then I kinda got our of crypto buisness. Been away so long  even bitointalk doesn't welcome me back. But I do still have MACs. Least I think I do/hope I do.

I still have my original wallet.dat file. But when I place it in the appropriate folder current machine pin wallet says something like. Recognized but not valid. (Not behind pc atm so I can't give exact message) think it has something o do with algo change / wallet updates?

Would be shame if I lost all my Mac's. Besides value it was and kinda still is my fav underground coin. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks

Following should work:
1. backup your wallet - .dat file few times  Cool
2. download latest version of machinecoin wallet
3*. if you dont have .machinecoin folder, run wallet for few seconds ((running ubuntu) is located at /home//.machinecoin)
4. put backuped .dat file to .machinecoin
5. run wallet

join our slack or telegram if its not working

And welcome back!

Once you go MAC, theres no going back Cheesy

so the question is how will you implement MN's? some kind of swap?
No swap, just mandatory update of wallet/hard-fork will happen.

Hi,

Ccminer also support timetravel.
There is x86 and x64 version.
Older version also supports timetravel algo.

In the README.txt you can find this: 'timetravel  use to mine MachineCoin'

You can download here: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

How to benchmark your card:
ccminer-x64.exe -a timetravel --benchmark

Results for GTX 1060 3GB (power -70, core +100, mem+400)

By the way, for all the gpu miners out there, this may be an option to mine Machinecoin - https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases/

A newbie question here - I'm a little unclear about how to use the Bitcore release you linked to - are you saying that we can use their wallet and solo mine with it or something else? Thanks.

They use our timetravel algorithm in their coin. But, I believe they modified the algo a little, so the client may need to be modified to work.
