600$ is way to little
around 1 BTC is a good price for a masternode
i understand u think MAC is way undervalued now
so yes it should be like 0.2 BTC now
and that is like 25000 MAC (once the price rise a bit)
go cheap u will be cheap
many people invest not much fast and easy fill the masternode
then can dump masternode income day by day
aim high if u have high goals
should be a real task and gather coins for some time to fill a masternode
this way give a masternode much more value and people who work to fill their masternode
or their 2nd or 3rd one are countering with their buypressure the sellpressure of people who already in sell mode with their masternode

Thank you for your input. I agree with you 100% on cheap prices will be perceived as cheap products.
After some months of heavy debate, we believe we have come to a decision on the number of MACs to run a Masternode. This is a significant step in our history, and we would like just a bit longer to ensure concurrency before making the official announcement. Maybe a week.
Would anyone else like to drop an opinion?

What's happening with the masternodes for MAC? Is it still on the cards or is it on hold now indefinitely?
Masternodes are still in play, the timeline probably needs to be updated.

if u allow run multiple masternodes on one IP/node then it doesnt matter
if u follow the idea of require unique IPs nodes for each masternode
u must select a realistic value
its easy gather 100000 MAC its stil way undervalued
but do u really want to be forced as user to run 10 VPS to run 10 masternodes?
i think a value of like 20000 as used by ION or 25000 as used by BSD fit the ammount of existing coins of MAC best
additional fill a masternode is a big motivation and generator of buy pressure

True on all points except one, there are only about 1 million MACs for sale on the open market. Sure, it would be easy to buy 100,000 eyeballing an average of about .000007-8, which is inching closer to $10,000. I personally would not sell 100,000 MACs that cheap.
BSD has a total coin supply of 210,000,000 and ION has about 50,000,000. MAC will only have about 35,000,000, and there are just over 20 million minted.
Do you think roughly $600 for a masternode is too little?
I do agree with you, I would not want to run 10 VPS.

Although not 100% decided, the number is strongly leaning at 10,000. The timeline is a little off due to our dev losing internet connectivity. He is not able to properly test the updates.
As for a quick note on the timeline... It is meant to give everyone an idea of our plans and when we believe we should be able to complete our objectives. Some items may be a little delayed, others completed ahead of schedule. The fact is we enjoy working on our project, and we will continue to add useful modifications that our user base desires

and is a easy affordable 0.1 BTC investment
i think even 50000 would be a good value
to fill a MN will be a good reason to buy MAC
set it to low remove that positive market effect
1000 Masternodes does not seem like a lot to me... Shouldn't we want to encourage as many people to run Masternodes (or multiple MNs) as possible to expand the network, while creating value for anyone hosting a Masternode?
If the number is 10000, one could run two masternodes (20000) and would accumulate as much MAC as if the number was 20000. However, if set at 20000 it would exclude anyone that does not have that amount.

There is still option to run more than one MN in case that you have more coins ready
- and i think its better than have a less than is needed to run one
