how can we mine this? are there any pools? I dont understand the whole "generate 1 -1" that was mentioned above to mine.

It looks like at the moment you can mine only with wallet built-in miner by using console comand
Code:
generate
CPU-only  Cheesy

Hope soon we will see GPU miner and pools, but no info about it

Glad to see the new wallet release. It looks good. Now the main question is:  where can I find instructions for building BTX masternodes inside the new wallet?

Ukrainians will resist

Everyone can start the mining with "generate 1 -1"

[generate (amountofblocks) -1]
I have 1 core mining. Tried different combinations, how to set the number of cores?

Any more details about the new algorithm?

yeah please, fill us in who've been supporting your coin for years.

n/m, went to ways of MEC it seems, so dropped from pool due to unsupported algo.

Can we expect the same for BSD?

We really have been announcing this for a long time now.

No changes are planned for BSD. Unfortunately no developer has been able to build an external miner yet.

Best Regards Chris

Version 0.90.9.6 has now a new checkpoint on board.

Now is less than one day remains to new BitCore algo but there is no news\links or smth else. Does it mean that the release will not be at the 1st Sep ?

The release for the new algo is onlince since 6 weeks ago.

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases

Notes..

Forktime : 09/01/2020 @ 12:00pm (UTC) + 1 hour

The 1 hour is for the diff reduction. I enable today also a spork for the min proto version.
New blocks need one week for confirmation in the future. This protects the  exchange from accepting false blocks.

I finally sold all my Bitcore. Always sounded like a great project but there was always one thing that bothered me. When you Googled Bitcore, Google always responds with 'Do you mean Bitcoin?'

The name is just too similar.

How about xCore?  So x-men-like.

If you tell someone who knows nothing about crypto "You need to buy some Bitcore" they'll say "Do you mean Bitcoin?"

Even Google thinks you mean Bitcoin when you search for Bitcore!

How many new would be BTX users get redirected to Bitcoin search results instead thanks to Google?

Great project apart from that. Definitely all for the GPU mining. Just needs a new name IMO.

A new BitCore BTX algorithm is coming!
Why is this important? Because new
algo Mega-BTX has been developed specially for CPU and GPU miners,

CPU and GPU, whether it's some kind of Algo Scrypt, Equihash or other, to be honest I just heard that these Altcoins can change the Algorithm, maybe I don't understand that, but it's interesting to change it for the better where everyone can mine BTX too
