Anybody renting hash to mine?  I’m interested in a pool that offers sha256d mining with merged mined coins.

Cheers!

I don't rent sha256d, but when I started to look around mining BTX I first checked and rented timetravel10 rigs on http://miningrigrentals.com (however the price for the BTX hashrate was quite high).

Hope will not get banned for the link, if there is an issue just let me know and I will delete it.

Beam me up!
How the weekly airdrops of Bitcore will go on? Is there already a date for the last airdrop? I hope we will get airdrops for the next couple of years from you guys. You are doing great work Smiley

Yes, there will be free 30%+ per month interest [and growing monthly] for years and years to come.

Terve Juha.

I am happily mining at your pool (hope we'll find some block soon:)).
However you have as well min payout chunks from 0,1 BTX each 7 minutes, or did I miss something? You mention that umine 0,1 is rather spammy:).

Ahem. That's true. I didn't think about it, but obviously the only thing preventing those 0.1 BTX payouts when it's the minimum is to have a large portion of the pools hashrate, like I had at first. Now my payouts are almost below 1. Until I manage to implement user settable thresholds, do you think I should increase the threshold to, say, 0.25 BTX?

No problem, as you stated, with current pool hashrate power it's OK. I don't have much hashpower  and it's moreless all the time 0,2+ BTX.
When the hashrate will increase to some sufficient level (1Ghz+ ?) might be good to reconsider so it's really not spammy (untless there is user defined treshold).

Actually one thing to consider as well - as the airdrops are on Mondays I would suggest to have autopay on each Sunday evening, but again it would come more handy when there is more hash power.

Anyway thanks for your pool, it's much more fun to see and gamble when the block if found:), hope we'll get steady at least one a day.

I'm really impressed by the performance of BTX during this storm.
It's just come back to ~20$ where it was a week ago when the entire market goes -30% O_O

The buy orders just got bigger (more than doubled), more people found out about the distribution model I guess. Not the first time BTX holds steady against massive crypto dumping.

Why would I want to give anyone some of my hard earned and deeply loved little pinky coins? They can have my shitty BRL, USD or EUR, but not my precious Bitcores.

Hey Vlad, this seems a little OT here. ; ) Anyway, interesting idea, renting GPU power for timetravel10 might be profitable, too.

Oh and please fix your signature it misses BTX after "BTC ->".
Thank you.

Does airdrop still apply for newcomers? min is still 1 BTX? and 5% every monday? Sorry as there are thousands threads that I could not read them all at once. Thanks

Yes you are completely right. Still possible!

1BTX, registered RIGHT address at webpage , and 5% are incoming every monday till the end of january. Then we move to 6%   Cheesy Grin

edit always check the amount from the registered adress at the blockexplorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/ right before Airdrop.
the default addressmanagement makes up a new adress for every changemoney

Thank you for posting this.  Wink

I agree! That's astonishing! And especially it is very important to keep it in mind in the beginning of 2019 !!

Last two 4 hour payout periods show nothing to me.
Total Paid shows same as 9 hour last credited.
I think missed two other possible before this,
but was too busy to check into before.
     What can cause this?
Before was chug along adding consistent every 4 hour.

Which pool?

BTX pool  bitcorepool.cc/
running ccminer/2.2.4

If you haven't already, check your rig out and perhaps restart miner; if no issues there, go to bitcorepool.cc telegram page as a lot of good and helpful info is there; and if you're still having issues, maybe try another pool to see if issue follows or is isolated.
Time for Payout passed again now but none completed.
I see on pool chat other seem have same problem.

I am using bitcorepool and the payouts seems normal to me, every 4 hours. I hope you will find where the problem is.
It looks pool change from payout threshold .01 BTX to .10 BTX
from what I see message in pool chat , although AFIK there was
not notice of any pending change, which would be appreciated...
Anyone else can confirm this what happened?

Dear all
Where can I find a date for Airdrop on Monday ( mean block of BTC chain to calculate)?
Thanks

I'm not sure I understood your question correctly. Roll Eyes

Have you already joined the airdrop or not?

It does not happen in the bitcoin network, but in the bitcore network! You do not need to calculate blocks or anything else. You simply buy at least 1 BTX or more, put them in your BTX wallet - and sign messages for the airdrop (read carefully in OP).

Every Monday in Jan you receive 5% of your deposited amount, in February - 6%, in March - 7%, etc. In between, you can move coins, trade them, but before Monday - be sure to return them to the same address from which you signed the message for registration.
Will each award get added to my principal, and then at the same time participate in the next week's 5% / 6% of the reward? The first week won 100 bonuses, if I do not change the wallet, the next is (2000 +100) * 5%, I understand the right?

You understand it right, of course, but there is a caveat though and a real one at that. The one which I stumbled upon myself in the past. Be sure that you enable Coins Control feature if you are using a vanilla wallet, that is bitcore-qt. Then double check your change address and set it to your registered address when you are sending coins.

Otherwise, the change will go to some randomly generated address on which you won't receive the next airdrop.

How do you set change address? Is it a console command?

You should first enable Coin Control Features in your wallet. This is done via Settings -> Options -> Wallet, then check the Enable coin control features box. After that you will see the following view under the Send tab:

Now you can set your change address in the Custom change address field.
