After searching max coin git hub I finally come across the qt. like I said I will not click peoples links on this forum and depend on THE DEV TEAM TO MAKE SHIT CLEAR AND SIMPLE! When they provide links that point in the general direction of things ON TWITTER instead of maintaining a STRAIGHT FORWARD easy to explore easy to maintain forum head UPDATED REGULARLY with updates and info because this IS the hub for most if not all crypto. These devs have done the absolute bare minimum creating this coin and then talked down to people who just don't want to jump through pointless hoops to mine.

If you had the old wallet, delete everything but wallet.dat and the .conf file.

You also need to get rid of the gen=1 (the thing that was mining in the wallet). I just have the addnodes in my conf file.

After that, it worked for me.
