Going back to discussion about govt shutting down silk rd and killing off altcoins, sure the govt shut down silk rd but it had the effect of drmatically bosting bitcoin, helping it go to 1000 dollers. Would be very hard, even next to impossible for governments to shutdown an alt. They would need to seriously crack down on the internet first, can see signs of that going on but were long way off still!!!!

People just hold on. Lot of work is done and all contacts we planned to establish are made. There is no need to panic, we will provide so much services that you will decide not to sell at all. Don't be scared of those who are trying to buy/sell at low prices on CoinedUp. They just wasting their time for minimal profit. I like to imagine situation where one person playing with 200 millions of MEOW for profit of 1000 MEOW on each transaction celebrating success. What can we say about that

We are working hard as shit on this coin. Sorry I haven't posted much, been working on this coin solid all week after work (see github + branches). Really trying to get this buttoned up. Will post more info as soon as I can, have faith my kittehs the entire team is working very hard to make this relaunch a success. Remember we are relaunching AND hard-forking AND upgrading the client code all at the same time, this will mean good things for kittehcoin long term and I hope people recognize the commitment this team is making to see this coin grow. More news soon.

Glad I have been at work all night, and missed all this drama, even I may of been scared and sold out. But I do not want to sell at a loss.

Governments can't shut cryptocurrencies down any more than they could shut down the internet and in fact only by shutting down the internet could they achieve both and only in their respective jurisdictions.

Yea I am very Bullish on this one. Those poor Catcoin folks are having all kinds of problems, don't know what's about to hit them.
Pardon if I am about to say something very illogical here, but is there any case of two altcoins merging into one for the better of both? It sounds like it would take a tremendous effort of organization.
If other coins are legit, up front, no reason there is not room for all.
This market is just getting accepted.
It can only grow.

We want to be able to use these coins on ebay amazon all of it.
Progress is being made.
Meantime there is always goldrush end of it, during the original 1800's lots of people were scammed, killed, robbed ect.

ahhh um errr..Silkroad was just a website, not an entire currency. The owner of silkroad was actually caught by a very foolish act he made a few years back by making a post (I think on bitcointalk) and he was talking about creating Silkroad, and just with that the government were able to find out his name and it just went downhill from there.
