Open Letter to Dano,

MEOW is still your responsibility.  If you want to head up a multi million dollar chain.  You can not abandon your first born for certain death.

This is a simple request. You don't need to maintain anything other than (publicly) assuring a few seeder nodes, the rest is up to the general public.

Good words my friend. What can we do as a community to take some of these dead coins well not really dead but just forgotten like Kitteh or hijacked like Crave .Chains are healthy with Crave and Kitteh needs updating Im into metal music coin too I love it and have fun with the coin however we need a wallet upgrade really really bad Im no developer and I assume the dev of the coin is well I consider him a friend and want to help him he has always been honest with me I dont know but obviously he cant fix the wallet I was told it was a wallet builders wallet,Im only one person I want to help fix these things but do not know how im not made of money and everyone wants that or needs it.Its just the way things are.

If I was a developer these things would be fixed I would have a sidechain to put all these forgotten coins on.As I understand things Etherium welcomes this sort of thing as does counterparty and nxt.I have no idea how to implement it though. Hell I have a couple of coins that I run that I specifically keep alive because simply are on 2 computers if I turn one computer off there is no block source available. they have been forgotten or abandoned. and I collect source codes that you cant find anymore.I have no idea what to do with them I just know that they will be important some how.

Thanks for the info Ill just run it on a virtual machine.or sandboxie.Cheap coin here so I consider it a bargain but I hold most of my crypto anyway and usually only sell stake.I Need another computer for the many wallets I have as they are starting to slow this beast down (Alienware 32 gb  ddr3 ram 1tb 10000 rpm 128 ssd core i7 4900q nvidia gtx 770 sli currently running in single mode) takes quite a lot to slow this thing down but those wallets are starting to do it.Im starting to use paper wallets and android wallets and ios wallets to clear up space and resources.Again many thanks.

Edit:About secure.payment.cc Yea I just recently discovered that site through Bitmakler.com a russian website with a freaking ton of crypto resources an unbelievable website I have been farting around the crypto world since 2014 and I have never come across anything like it.It has skyrocketed my knowledge and resources in the crypto spaces.I had tried to connect to secure payment for several days because they have some really good coins to mine on there but I couldnt and was getting connect errors and connection refused errors so I blew it off.Sent emails to them and they were undeliverable I got them back.I noticed a few days ago that site is now up for me.

yeah regarding mining.securepayment.cc .... Some of their pools are better than others on that site. For some the sign message feature to set a fixed diff doesn't work. You will have problems if you can't set the worker diff properly. Vardiff on the pool either makes it really low and the pool rejects the hash or it sets it super high so the miner takes forever to submit a share then they become stale. I've stuck a couple gridseed mini's on Kitteh and Bunny coin and found blocks with some orphans but they paid out most of the blocks I found. I'm also had good luck with Digibyte, mobius and universal with my S7-LN or my old S3 just messing around.

Yea havent mined there yet all my machines are old just like me lol  Tongue I got s1s  and zeus thunders and hurricanes and gaw lightnings not being able to afford anything newer,Most of those need maintenance and dont work right now but can be fixed just takes time and the effort and well im a lazy bastard lol I blew up a  1300 watt evga supernova hooking it up wrong it sounded like a shotgun going off.My family and friends that happend to be around at the time came running in the room wanting to see if everything was ok..I couldn't find my glasses.I dont want to attempt working on them until I can get decent eye glasses and afford the parts.

Yes Thank you I appreciate the info and the time and effort you took to track it down and post the information for us.I too realize that probably 95% to 100%of those are false, but I have seen some of those detections before and I fear though they in themselves my be benign I fear code injection weaknesses especially being a wallet from way back.I did find a android apk on google play for Kitteh but it is only for checking balances.I was just hoping to find a windows qt or something but I haven't been able to track one down myself either every link I came across is dead or leads to an expired domain.

Im a cat lover and been wanting to add this coin to my collection for a long time ever since 2014 but I could never find a decent wallet. Now that I know some things and a lot of people here that are devs and such I may see about having someone picking it apart for me and see whats up with it.I think it is definitely worth a try to take over this project.Sorry for getting upset but that guy was being a dick and I wasn't raised like that.I sorta feel like if this gets off the ground this picture is for him.  Cheesy

Why the new threads and relaunch talk etc? Has anything changed since the original launch thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annmeow-kittehcoin-launched-come-get-some-meow-now-u-haz-it-doge-sad-383068 ?

It looks like a super cheap old coin that just needs a dev and website.

Yeah the dumbass took the windows and mac binary wallets down, you can't solo mine this coin. the idiot even took the backup mirror down. protip don't do a relaunch unless you have ACTIVE DOWNLOAD LINKS for the prebuilt binaries and you have to maintain them forever and ever and ever until the coin is declared dead. even if that means keeping the wallets available for download for 30 years.

My antivirus has detected Wallet ->Trojan gen2!!!
Oh, fuck, uploadfiles.io is a cunning scammers!!! Don't use it NEVER!
Sometimes you get a valid file from it, but sometimes you get absolutely different file with trojan!!!

Original file has size 18'475'753 bytes (17.6 MB) and SHA256 hash 42a0ef6e47d6bf9263126cb5ba6cd9bc9699cf4b5165ec9f412d5edb684875e6
Also original archive should contains 9 files with kittehcoind.exe as first.

Malware file has size 1.36 MB and different hash
Also it contains only one file archive_6ebb653f38dd54abf0ae87cdbcea122f.zip.exe
DON'T RUN IT!!!

Sorry guys, when I tested it, I got a valid file. So I decide that all OK with it.

I remove link to uploadfiles.io from my original post, please clean all your quotes of my post with link to uploadfiles.io

You can use link to filedropper.com (mirror1 in original post), it's OK: Windows Wallet

I love cats and have a few at home. If mining this coin would be to prove ownership of the cat. It would be cool, hundreds pictures of cats would have filled up this thread.
