We have changed the mining algorithm from POW to delegated POW. That means only delegated miners can created new blocks. The miners are delegated by stake owners.
So you don't even have the free-for-all 1-month mining that Steem had?Basically your distribution is premine-over-time, and you and your designated associates still end up with all the supply.
Is this similar to STEEM? Are regular miners allowed to mine? What is a delegated miner? How do they differ from normal miners?

I can still register on the testnet. However, the main net doesn't work.
It is working (parts of it), but with MSK, which has no value. Testers must have some incentives, given the large premine (currently valued @ $340.000)...

Ok. We have moved the network to main net. Until the old node operators move their websites, you can access the network on www.maskbuzz.com
We have also made some very important changes in the last 2 months :
- The total supply was decreased from 100.000.000 coins to just 21.000.000 (the "premine" is the same).
- The new coins will be distributed to content creators not by interest. By content we mean blog posts, comments, decentralized applications, assets and so on.
- We have changed the mining algorithm from POW to delegated POW. That means only delegated miners can created new blocks. The miners are delegated by stake owners.
The same ideea as steem but the implementation is 100% different.
There are many, many details. Until de docs are updated, you can post your questions here.

Is there an update? Middle of July is soon. I know you were about 95% finished months ago, so I would expect something soon?
September, 1 is the launch date. The basic code was finished months ago but testing took a lot of time.

Ok, whats the status of this project. Have the bought coins be released? Is the developer still around? Its been a ghost town in here for weeks.
We are working on last details. The main net will be launched next month. On launch day, all investors will be able to use the public + private key to load their wallets.
In the first weeks, you will be able to trade MaskCoins on our exchange(maskexchange.com) and yobit.com

a) Have you published your test data with the testers. How many testers did it? Have you rewarded them?
b) What is the progress of pre-sale?
c) What is the status of the real net release and further information?
