The following responses to my question are about as useless as tits on a bull.  Anyone with a non sarcastic or smart ass answer want to chime in with a strait answer?

"http://mc.v2.dedicatedpool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool is the answer."
"It means that the dev does not know what he's doing and this coin is doomed to get dumped to 1 satoshi. Sell all you got before it is too late."
"The guy who originally posted this was just somebody who couldn't read or understand coin specs"

I'm no coder, what exactly does this mean?

The dev (from the posts I have seen) has not replied so the responses you got were valid. A mistake was made and has not been addressed. A coins worth is based on the trust in the dev. Trust is hard to get as we have all have seen the increase in coins that are made only to scam. It is quite likely that MC was not made to scam us but the fact that this error in POW has happened the trust is gone and saddly placed this coin in the generic "SCAM" category.
