I've modified the X11/X13 switching ports

The previous port will now stay alive for 60 seconds before closing, this should allow sgminer to see the new port before it closes the old port, allowing the failover to happen much quicker.

Thanks!

I don't know if this has anything to do with this or not:

Buy just today I notice ~4 min +/- 30 sec to make the switch. I'm not sure where I was before, but I never noticed anything this long. I tried --failover-only (where I didn't have it set before) and no difference.

Could it have to do with : --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0

For now i'm off of the algo switching ports and on 4440.

Normal for zeus based ASICS.  I've actually seen worse.

Hi merc82, can you help me understand the vardiff please?  how come sometimes i get cycles such as the below

I'm hasing with 3 Furys, 4 Mh/s total.  But the diff is so ridiculously high (16384!) that I haven't submitted a share in 5 minutes.  This happens often, and it takes quite a while for the pool to recognize that the diff is too damn high:

And eventually it goes back to a reasonable diff but it doesn't stay there... eventually it spikes again and hangs the share submissions for who knows how long. Its not just this way for my Furys on Scrypt but my rigs on X11 and X13.  Is there a way to request a steady diff by my miner's config?

Are those HW errors normal? Looks horrible.

Ya I got 0.006 for 3 days, then the pool got some problems with servers and rogue coins or something few days ago and profitability decreased to 0.002 - 0.003 tops. Dunno if it's a pool problem or coins took a hit because BTC is going down a bit.

Thanks!

Anything we need to modify in our miner or you just modified this on the pool side and we're all good now?

Thats the problem, the switch time between algos can be up to 30sec on my miner. Dunno if this can be improved on the pool side..

I dont know if this works but try this -failover-switch-delay

Merc82:  I did a manual payout of 427 PIG coins last night for Bittrex.  Needless to say they did not make it.  I have now realized that PIG changed to PIGGY and Bittrex no longer handles the wallet.  Is there anything I can do to get those coins back and/or credited towards PIGGY?  Thanks

Hi guys,

I decided to try sgminer 5.0 beta to autoswitch between X11 and X13 coins on TMB. Worker hashrate appears to be fine on stat site, all's good in the miner window except the A values which remain at 0, even though my miner displays accepted share messages. Is this a bug? My shares are ok?
+1

Same thing here.. the A stays at 0 when looking at the miner output via the shell *EDIT* A went to 1 after 4 hours on each of my rigs *EDIT*.  However, my shares 'look' ok on the TMB side, and my web UI (IFMI pool manager) shows an amount of accepted shares.  I guess it's a bug.

More importantly however, is the autoswitching between x11 and x13 really that much better?  I'm having a hard time understanding how the constant switching is bringing me more profits.. because it seems that the rigs just barely get going on an algorithm when the port dies and they are switched to another one.  Right now my rigs have been up for about 40 min with my newly installed sgminer5 and they've switched back and forth at least 10 times.  I don't know if the small amount of shares produced each time are actually worth it.  Thoughts?

Axis has been forked and I have lost 0.5 btc for rented rigs... Would be good to get any compensation, but I still see nothing:

0.5btc rented doesnt mean 0.5btc or more profit, you can win or lose there is no real math behind it just always invest just the volume you can lose.

I wasn't able to recover all the AXIS we mined, but I did recover about 75% of what was in the autoexchange batch (and coins credited to users not in enrolled in autoexchange). These have been awarded accordingly, and the autoexchange batch has been recredited with the exchanged value for the coins, plus some for the troubles.

Like I told, as soon as you recognise what TMB is you will come back  Roll Eyes. I am not sure if you recognised, but you came back much earlier than I expected Smiley, hope you will be happy with TMB this time.

Serious nose dive and I haven't had time to investigate.  Speculation on what's responsible?  Market in general or is it more TMB technical woes?  Both?  Sometime when I have the energy...

Market mostly. CLOAK went full PoS, leaving not much profits left to mine.. it's been feast or famine for several weeks on x11 and x13 ;/

At the same time, we have a backlog of blocks from our previous technical woes that are still processing. I've expedited the process, should see a good bit more in tomorrows payout (though the market is still crappy presently)

Thank you very much for the payment after axis forked.
