The testnet was updated with 3 nodes! After release, these nodes will host the real blockchain. Less than 3 hours until release, testnet should be fully functional, so feel free to do any testing.
Testnet CLI (With miner): https://github.com/neptuniumteam/Neptunium-Testnet/releases/tag/v0.2.0.1

The GUI wallet now comes with all required dependencies. I'll try to have a one file wallet on release, but if anything, I'll make an installer.

The testnet will be going down as we prepare for launch. I'll first release the binaries on github and then update the thread and website. Launch should be no later than a few minutes after 10:00PM EST or earlier.

Looks like there was some orphaned blocks.
This naturally happens, but it's surprising it happened on the testnet with little (I think) miners. Weird.
It may have had to do with no mining going on for a while and the blockchain catching up.

There's been no orphaned blocks since then, try mining. If you can't get any good blocks we may have a problem. I'll try to mine as well.
UPDATE: I'm getting valid blocks.

Did you download the latest version and extract all contents to the same folder?

This works fine, I just tested it and synced up in no time. Looks like people are mining on testnet 329 blocks..

ATM, the GUI wallet is very basic and doesn't support mining. You need to run the CLI daemon (neptuniumtestnetd) and simplewallet (simplewallet) for native cpu mining. After you've made a wallet in simple wallet, type "start_mining x" (x is # of cpu cores). You can later open and import your .wallet file into the GUI wallet.
