Reporting newyorkcoin !

1. Hardfork took place and the majority switched to a new branch!

2. As the founders, we have conducted work on testing the long-awaited new “wallet” NYC  V1.3.1.18 - Minor Update. Credit!

3. The community knows me as a coin saver programmer. You will make fun of me but from the base of the coin. My birthday coincides with the birthday of our coin 4 years ago. Cool as my granddaughter says.

4. Coin now grow. No problem. Together with you we are seeing an increase in Difficulty 14,308.94624444 / VERY Seriously.

. This is good, but I earn less .... smile.

5. fenoallen - it would be better to make an effort for a coin. Or even BTC sent. Honestly - do not like coins, do not trust - leave. Leave and do not litter the air. We without you have something to do with the community.
 How is it in Chinese and in Russian - I'm sorry that it is not unpleasant but fuck

6. Bearing in mind the activity fenoallen for a fall - this newcomer specifically knocks down the price for a purchase. Watch and analyze carefully. Well, can not a person just write negative as a novice novice. Draw conclusions. Do not sell cheap.

$NYC 51% attack, market manipulation, swap and refund

First statement regarding $NYC 51% attack, swap and refund from Tradesatoshi

51% attack

On October 20 2018 Tradesatoshi’s $NYC wallet was hit by a 51% attack, an unknown person using multiple fake accounts deposited a large sum of $NYC and then later sold these coins on the ETH market.

Our research team is still investigating, we believe it was someone that is close to the New York Coin team and is active on the Discord and Telegram chats.

At the time of the attack Tradesatoshi was running the latest $NYC wallet version 1.3.1.17 that can be found here
https://github.com/NewYorkCoin-NYC/nycoin/releases/tag/1.3.1.17

The attacker left a trail of evidence that we are now investigating.

Market manipulation

We believe that the person behind this attack is also manipulating the market through social media and chatrooms so they may profit more from the situation.
We also believe that another Exchange was the victim of a similar attack that took place on October 19 2018.

Swap

Tradesatoshi will swap $NYC New York Coin for $NYRT New York Refund Token at a rate 1:1

The new $NYRT will be an ERC20 token.
The swap will take place today November 5th 2018

Refund

Tradesatoshi will buy back all the $NYRT from its users, a deadline will be announced soon.
The new $NYRT will be an ERC20 token.
Users who want to help Tradesatoshi should just keep their $NYRT and no sell them or withdraw to any offsite wallets.
The price and terms are still to be set, we will buy at a price similar to the rate prior to when the attacker deposited and sold the $NYC on Tradesatoshi.

I warned you that the NewYorkCoin team is a scam!
Now I'm not the only one writing about this.
See information on the link at the beginning of my post.

Quickly decided poser.

Latest update from NYC Devs: WALLET SYNC SOLUTION

The biggest issue is that it would get to a seemingly random block (different one for each of those involved) and just stop syncing. They would still have connections, but they would no longer sync. We have been trying to work out the root cause but in the meantime it seems the best work around is to do the following steps:

1. Close the wallet if it's running
2. Delete the peers.dat file and the blocks and chainstate folders from the data folder
3. Download the bootstrap from http://blog.nycoin.community/downloads/bootstrap.dat.zip
4. Unzip the bootstrap file and copy the bootstrap.dat file into the data directory
5. Open and edit the newyorkcoin.conf file in the data directory, remove the existing addnode lines and replace them with the following:
addnode=46.250.220.175:17020
addnode=62.213.218.23:17020
addnode=62.213.218.8:17020
addnode=76.95.178.229:17020
addnode=85.90.245.151:17020
addnode=136.144.215.219:17020
addnode=178.128.204.141:17020
addnode=178.118.21.128:17020

setban=73.179.138.124:17020
setban=104.239.230.131
setban=74.56.54.141
6. Save the conf file and restart the wallet. This will import the block data from the bootstrap file (which can take around 4 hours to complete) and should connect you to the most stable nodes we have that are up to date as of a few days ago.

All this is a lie!
See my post  #3779 above!

All the exchanges that NewYorkCoinMiner called are no longer trading NYC!

Wallet upgrade to v1.3.1.18 is not possible

http://www.imageup.ru/img10/3208994/nyc.jpg

There are no incoming connections, only outgoing

Correctly writes nycscam - NewYorkCoinMiner is a SCAMMER and a beggar,
begging everyone for money, ostensibly to pay for the launch of a new wallet NYC on Yobit and this is already a scam!

WARNING: NewYorkCoinMiner is a SCAMMER

It is pretty obvious that you are the most likely to be the scammer Tradesatoshi mentions:

https://medium.com/@TradeSatoshi/nyc-51-attack-market-manipulation-swap-and-refund-ca0c1d61da01

I quote:

"We believe that the person behind this attack is also manipulating the market through social media and chatrooms so they may profit more from the situation. We also believe that another Exchange was the victim of a similar attack that took place on October 19 2018." (Tradesatoshi, URL above)

You are the sole person that keeps posting bullshit and asking for money for listings.

You dumped on Yobit and Tradesatoshi, then filled this thread with lies to try to extract as much money as possible either by asking people to send you BTC for listing fees and wallet updates, or urging people to buy your shitcoins on an exchange.

The fork failed, the new source code is fucked, and even now you are lying and pretending that Yobit will somehow fix things. Yobit will fix nothing, the chain is fucked.

Pathetic little worm.
