Are League of Legends players betting against each other already?
Or is Firstblood trying to create a complete new market?

Hi Fans!

Thank you for the tremendous support you have shown for our token-presale. We are on track for the "Power Hour” (Sep. 26, 12AM UTC) and working around the clock to help everyone participate. You can now view the smart contract address at firstblood.io/sale. The starting block has also been announced! View the starting block number here: https://goo.gl/ociFI2

Here are our guides for contributing to FirstBlood’s token-presale starting Sep. 26, 12AM UTC:

Using MyEtherWallet:
https://goo.gl/90yE2H
Using Mist:
https://goo.gl/WxRxLY
Using our Site (Advanced ETH User):
https://goo.gl/oUDFKE

Before the pre-sale begins, it is important that we make certain you understand a few things about what you are pre-purchasing.

•    FirstBlood Tokens, or 1ST, are NOT A SECURITY and SHOULD NOT BE PURCHASED FOR INVESTMENT OR FINANCIAL REASONS. We hope you decide to participate in our pre-sale but only do so if you are motivated by a desire to help get our innovate platform launched and to be among the first participating members of our community.

•    There are several agreements you must read and certifications you must make on before you can agree to pre-purchase 1ST. These agreements contain important legal terms and disclaimers, please read them carefully when you generate your transaction data at firstblood.io/sale.

•    The network that the 1ST tokens you are pre-purchasing will operate on has not yet been fully built. We fully intend to honor all the goals outlined in our white paper and elsewhere, however the final functions of the token and usage terms related to 1ST on any future network will be conditional upon the acceptance of future contractual terms. Essentially, you are pre-purchasing a token for a partially-built network and must understand that there will be additional terms that will need to be accepted before you can actually use 1ST in the future.

Thank you once again for supporting FirstBlood. Please keep in touch and feel free to bring up any questions or concerns you might have about this matter or the overall project.

Play eSports, win rewards

This is the slogan on your site, what is the reward when we play esports? How to prevent game bots, scripts and cheaters?

You will be able to challenge other platers to matches and risk 1ST tokens on the match. Winner will recive all tokens risked on the match minus a service fee. Additionally, you will be able to earn rewards for contributing to our ecosystem. The primary purpose of 1ST is to enable us to reward people for referrals (promotion), running witness nodes (similar to BTC mining), and compensate them for being an active member of our jury voting pool (similar to moderation). 1ST has similar functionalities to REP (verification and consensus mechanisms) with the added benefit of referral rewards. Likewise, you will always have the ability to use 1ST as a stake for challenging others.

Witnesses/Jurors are part of our cross-title, cross-platform eSports Integrity System. Witness nodes verify game data directly from gaming servers and our distributed Jury Voting Pool deals with alleged cases of hacking, cheating, or toxic behavior. A more detailed explanation can be found in our white paper: https://github.com/Firstbloodio/white-paper/blob/master/FirstBlood_White_Paper.pdf

Can the players only bet in firstblood tokens or will it be possible to bet in eth, btc or even dollar or euro?

Nice question, I will appreciate if the developers will address this question

Initial version will only allow users to risk 1ST tokens but later versions will include alternative forms of payment. However, 1ST tokens will be the only way to receive benefits for referring users to the platform, witnessing matches, or participating as a Jury member.

I have been looking between Peerplays and Firstblood (they both fascinate me).

One of the major differences between the two that I haven't seen addressed here is that the Peerplays token has profit sharing built in.  In fact, that code was released back in June or early July.

Does Firstblood offer something like that?  I'm late to the Peerplays game and am hoping that Firstblood can address that.  Because it is a pretty big difference between the platforms.

We have chosen not to include revenue sharing in our token model per the advice of our legal council.

Just curious.

Your income model is just players matchmaking and needing an escrow?

Hi Dogedigital! That is only part of income. We will have 1v1 and TeamVTeam matches but also host tournaments. Some of these tournaments may be pay to play. We will also form partnerships with merchandizers for additional revenue. These points were covered in our pitchdeck: https://docsend.com/view/fzpxk6y

approx five days left for ico start, even no answer from OP again in this thread but i'm interesting with this project and i hope dev still continue the ico or the project, my question for ico is if we want invest firstblood only accept ETH?, cause i see in first page no calculation how much token we can get if invest in BTC or another cryptocurrency

Hi Strong!

Just to clarify I'm Marco from the FirstBlood team! I am the OP but this is my personal account.

Because this is a smart contract built on Ethereum you can only send ETH directly in to recive 1ST tokens. If you can make it to the power hour, 1 ETH will get you 170 1ST (70% discount). The current price of 1 ETH to BTC is about 0.2208 BTC. So if all prices stay the same for the power hour then 1 ETH:0.2208 BTC: 170 1ST

If you would like to use shapeshift and Mist to buy into the smart contract we made an easy guide for you to follow. Check it out!

So you guys are only going to accept ETH for your ICO

We will only accept ETH for our utility token presale

Very important update to the buy in process for our crowdsale!!

If you are planning to use MyEtherWallet or Mist to buy into the token crowdsale you will need to generate a "data code" for the transaction on our site (https://firstblood.io/sale/). We will push the update onto this page in the next day or two so you can get your data code ahead of time. This transaction code will be specific to your ETH wallet.

...

Hello OmnesOmni,

the datacode I can create now on your website is it only a pre-ICO test data code or is it already the real data code for the ICO?
If it is the real one I can generate it today and save it until the ICO starts, right?

Regards,
Janu$$

Oh wait, 5.5M measure in ETH, so right now its already 300k ETH Pre order in Yunbi, which means once it reach 500k, even during powerhour it reach 5.5 Million CAP then the ico is ended?

Do not cap it by amount, the one hour limit is low enough, if you also cap it amount, you welcome failure just like decent did.

Therefore they will be no cap even $5.5 is reached within the power hour am i right?

Thanks and Regards

Yes, you are right about what he is proposing. It would also contradict what we've been telling all of you fans after we finalized our white paper.

@All, NOTICE! yunbi.com has sold 300,000 ETH to Chinese investors, yunbi will invest in Firstblood on behalf of them, so if you want to invest in this coin, just do it at the very very beginning!!!

Dev, any comments on the above statement?
Thanks,

Hey Sam, no problem!

Crowdsale will still stop at $5.5M worth of ETH. What Yunbi allowed for was for their international customers (not just chinese nationals) to submit pre-orders tickets to buy into the crowdsale. Nothing has been bought yet as our live smart contract has not even been uploaded to the Ethereum netowork. This partnership was announced by both firms about 2 weeks ago. Yunbi has also made it clear that pre-orders they receive may not go through because at the end of the say a smart contract on the blockchain is the great equalizer. The fastest buyers with the most gas will get their 1ST first. Yunbi has reached their cap of pre-sale orders and is not excepting any more at this time.

Its going to be a more than 500K ETH in total because we have a moving average to calculate the price for the smart contract.
