That's weird, my calculations claimed it was way up near two cents a coin again today. Maybe come from believing MtGox's (weighted average) bitcoin prices though.

i downloaded the wallet from their website, but its not connecting/refreshing or anything ... 0 connections / 0 blocks ...
The client you downloaded is probably out of date. What's the link to where you got it?

I can't get mine to connect, downloaded from the IXcoin website and the first post of this thread. I'm behind a firewall, but still... LTC, BTC, DVC connect fine.

I was having the same problem as you. Turned out that the version linked in the first post is old. It's version 0.3.24 whereas the latest version is 0.3.24.3. When I downloaded the latest version, it connected for me without problem. You can download 0.3.24.3 from the ixcoin website here.

thanks man, I appreciate it.  I'll give it a shot.

If that didn't work, you have to go to your general options and uncheck the "connect via socks4 proxy" box

adding the node in this thread fixed it (added a shortcut with -addnode after)

Do any of the clients have current active nodes to fall back to?

I still run Ixcoin on dvcstable01.dvcnode.org, do try looking up that name's IP number and adding it with addnode just to get you started.

(That old code likely cannot look up hostnames used in addnode args.)

Anybody know when we'll get a good working copy of an ixCoin wallet for windows 64?

It would be nice to have it.  TIA!

The link given earlier for registering at bitparking's merged mine pool looks fine to me now maybe it just was down before or something.

I merged mine using p2pool too but same thing, no way to divide up all the altcoins, so normal folk using it only see it as in effect a zero fee bitcoin pool.

So bitparking's merged mining pool is still the best option for people who don't want to or lack the skills to set up a full merged mining panoply of their own.

I don't think butterfly will ship until a year or two if ever.

You can't be serious.   Come on man. They already took nearly a grand out of my account.  How can they take the money, spend it and not ship anything.  The big rig or mini 1,500GH rig that thing is getting redesigned cause it gets so hot and eats so much that instead of 1,500GH they have to remove 2/3rd of the chips or ship 3 500GH units in place of 1.

So those mini rigs are getting redesigned which I think its minimum 6 months if not a year but they're shipping the small 5GH units although only like 30 units.

From what I've read the problem is they promised 1watt per GH/s which is just possible.  They're getting from 6 to 10 watts.  I say who cares.  Ship me what you've got.  If they just understand people are ok with 10 watts per 1GH cause it sure beats 400 watts per 1GH which is what I was getting my dual 7850 desktop, they'd just ship those suckers now.  I hope they're gonna come out by July but its not looking good.  They haven't even answered my emails as to what the timeline is looking like.
