BTC sent on 9/26 and order marked "Payment Completed" on 9/27.

I paid on the 24th of September 2012 (the equivalent of currently over $USD 22k, scary numbers ;-)

I'm order 300, so don't feel bad. I'm only miffed because people who ordered long after me already have their units.

Long ago I wanted to dissect one and give it a full review. take it apart, scan the pcb. Do a full IR imaging suite on it and xray the pcb. all for fun. I live for stuff like that. plus the people they sent review units too just took some grainy BS pictures and a couple blog posts. I could've blown all that away.

Kinda sucks now that I'll be one of the last to get it.

I don't know why people complain of the heat coming off the Avalon. mine seems to run pretty cool (29~30C) at ambient temperatures. (75 to 80F~)

The most you'll get from them is "don't worry, it's on its way". Check with DHL every day. Eventually it'll show up there.

That's 4+ days after I paid. I believe shipping order was (in part?) prioritized on payment date, not order number.
