New In Town...
I'm interested in what your policy is on returns for pre-ordered miners?  I placed an order for 500 of the U2+ units at 13.9 BTC and am now considering different hardware (different vendor).

Thanks!

Bitmain, is it possible to change the location of your wallet or create a new one? My wallet is not on blockchain.info and I can still receive funds

Bro they are using blockchain API because they can automatically create a new address for each order and therefor track down payments and verify them.
You can check that when you place an order with them.
All they require is 1 confirmation for your payment.

Manually creating a new address is not an option for them when they have so many units to deliver.

I see, thanks for the info
anyone try to checkout at Bitmain now that blockchain.info is partially back up?

None that I have heard of.
But be patient.  Wink

Do you know how long the block chain is down for?

You should ask them.

Anyone having trouble with the Bitmain checkout process? I get this error and am not sure what it means..

"Blockchain generate bitcoin payment address error:
Invalid HTTP Response code 500"
Any ideas are appreciated!

Blockchain.info is currently down for maintenance.

1) here is the photo of my monitor screen
2) I run it with Corsair RM850. It's a pretty good PSU, I have another two of them powering two Ants S1 each without problems.

Actually I don't care much just was sort of disappointed when paid heavy customs tax for this unit only to find that it's all dusty and semi-burnt.

Sorry about your ordeal, but I couldn't help but notice the lenses (nice darkroom) above the monitor. Got anything for large format (5x7 to 20x24 is what I'm interested in) in their that you want to sell?

just got two S2s on AZ for $785 each.  Jones Gear has 15 left   Shocked
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HL4MEG6/?tag=supplytigerco-20

Should I get two CX500 PSU or 1 larger PSU for the 2 units?  If 1 larger, can you recommend. thx

Why do you think the price dropped so far?

That's not a S2....

Sorry, you are right.  I meant to say S1.     Any recommendations for the power supply for 2 of them?
A name brand 1000W 80+ Gold or better PSU with a single +12v rail should handle 2 over clocked S1's with plenty of leeway.   I run 2 ANTS OC'd on an OCZ 1000W and 2 more OC'd on an EVGA 1000W with no problem.  Both PSUs are 80+ Gold with a single +12v rail that puts out 83 amps and my Kill-A-Watt shows they are pulling between 800W-805W at the wall.

Or you can get them for $155 less, each, by several official sellers, like https://www.112bit.com/product/antminer-s1-dual-blade/.

Have you tried running it with another PSU?  I use 2 HX850s to power 3, and i was getting a sleu X on chips when i was running two on 1 PSU.  Try getting a 550W + PSU with 2 12v rails and PCI cables that arn't split and see if some of those Xs go away.  Remember to run the unit for a while because the X has taken at least 5 min to update on me before.

Also, try SSH into and and lower the clock setting in the asic-freq file located at /etc/config

You seem to know stuff, but just in case any noobs need a tip here is how to do the freq adjustment.  Start with the lowest setting, and let it mine for about 10 min before you trust the X count.  If all work move to the next freq settings.

Download Putty, and connect SSH to your miner via its IP address

type "cd /etc/config" to get to the proper place
type "vi asic-freq" to open the file you need to change
Hit "i" to enter edit mode
using arrows keys, move to the freq you want to use, and remove the # in from of all three lines.
move to the activated freq (one without #) and add the # in front of each line
Hit the escape key to leave edit mode
type ":x" and hit enter
type exit to leave putty
log into your miner via browser and apply settings on the miner config page to change to the new freq.

I own 12 S1s and have had plenty of time to troubleshoot problems, if you need more help don't hesitate to ask me in a PM.

If i helped anyone that wants to tip, please donate to the Against Hunger Foundation (http://againsthunger.org) Their BTC addy is 16EUDLfnDuQnFt9BviqpURHPpaa5oFxN2n

They do really good work and could use the funding!

Also tried it with Delta DPS-2000BB server PSU, all the same.

Didn't try to underclock it yet.
Wanted to play with underclocking anyway, I wondering if it possible to make S1 more power efficient.
It would be great to achieve S2 power efficiency with S1 units as their price goes down and  difficulty goes up, but probably it would require undervoltage too?

Thanks!
