Masternode rewards come regularly, cold staking rewards are not very regular, but according to my observations, the masternode is a little more profitable, I do not have enough coins to run a second masternode and therefore I have staking started.

Thanks for answering, that means that there's still little profit on pivx but this I think is the best for those that have bought it earlier or when it's cheaper and managed to hold it until now.

This is the coin that I've longed to have as a master node, I think 2-3 years ago but it's expensive the same as Dash. After looking at some info at masternodes.online. It's still expensive for me, to run a master node of it needs around $1,925 as per the MN website.
Are there folks that do still run an MN or staked their money on pivx? Before it's known but right now it's like the other projects that have been forgotten.

I'd like to voice my disappointment that such radical changes were made and not even mentioned here in advance. DNET/PIVX was announced/birth here and the dedicated forum was made several years later.
No self-respecting coin should be limited to their own censored/centralised forum. And without knowing anything about the "months of discussions", I do have to say these changes seem rather stupid and even insulting to long term holders.
Exactly this, unfortunately the latest time there isn't much discussion around Pivx, it's because of lacking people who are interested in posting this kind of information.
My opinion is that they need to change drastically towards a better course.

I don't know if its known, but when windows wallet make a stake and network refuse it, the grey reward 2 PVI will of course dissapear from transaction list. But staking/mn reward statistics are not corrected, it wil count new block when appear in transaction list, but when block dissapear statistics don't make correction for that.
edit: 4 days later: I've seen 3 more errors with staking/mn rewards statistcs, but there's something that fixes it all, so it's ok (continuously or after the start, I don't know).

Also includes many bug fixes, increased tests coverage, and important corrections on the tier two network with overall stability and synchronization processes improvements.
We encourage everyone to update their nodes to stay up to date.

Please note that this release comes with a protocol version bump, which means that your Masternodes will need to be restarted once you upgrade both the controller wallet and the Masternode daemon.
