PIVX 4.0 wallet has now been released.

This major core release contains new consensus rules and improvements that are not backwards compatible with older versions.
So we advise all desktop PIVX wallet users to update their clients before enforcement of this update goes into effect.

BabelFish - FISH Token Sale at Sovryn
Judging by the price just continuing to drop, its like -5%

I mean not taking into account price fluctuations. Just how much more PIVX I will have in my wallet after a certain period of time.
With the wallet open 24/7 my wallet stakes about 7.5-8%
Salute

Thanks,  mate. Not so bad, actually. I was expecting even lower ROI

Which is the best wallet for staking and how much Pivx is suggested to get some stable return.?

Guys, who's staking PIVX here? How profitable is it? Different sources give the annual yield in the range from 4,8% to 9,4%, but I'd like to hear from someone with actual experience.

general advice: dont assault this thread with stuff just cause one is bitter or trades have gone all wrong, keep it positive or not at all . (+ we really should do separate thread and do bit hand holding so few aggressive heads dont overwhelm the rest , but all efforts are now on code and marketing.. more stuff happens bit on reddit so if someone comes across here you can head there or discord of course (where most reside)

hey how's pivx goi..........ooooooh that's right, rekt shitcoin

Did you read the last development update? Doesn't look very shitty to me

It's Piston Honda, he seems to have a very limited vocabulary.

Just ignore him (or look at his post history for more fun Cheesy)

OMG, I checked, he is definitely a prolific writer, more than 4k posts - almost beyond my imagination  Shocked And you were right, the quality of his posts is exceptional  Cheesy

lmao, easssy there high and mighty nerds.

it is hilarious how you'll do anything to protect your mighty shitcoin vs. the truth looooool.

my quality is just fine to = the shit quality of a coin/project.  if it was somethign worthwhile then maybe post something more substantial.  but..not here lol.

[DEV UPDATE] PIVX 4.0.0 rc Testnet-only build has been tagged!

PIVX core developers have just tagged the first public testnet release of the 4.0 wallet.
Compiled binaries will be available from the same link once they have been uploaded.
https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v4.0.0rc2

Basically, this is a testnet-only build specifically to upgrade our main public testnet to the new 4.0 network before releasing the final mainnet release. So the plan is to upgrade our main public testnet to 4.0 first using this RC build, ensure that the fork goes smoothly, squash any last-minute bugs, then release the final core wallet for the mainnet if all is well before the end of year.

So those running PIVX 3.x testnet nodes should upgrade before end of week as there will be a hard fork at block 1347000, expected to occur before the end of this week. We encourage everyone to download and try out the  (latest) 4.0 rc testnet wallet to get familiar with the new user interface. If you have any issues or want to report bugs, you can do so in the PIVX Discord's #pivx_testnet channel or submit a Github Issue.

If you need some tPIV testnet coins, you can get some from here: https://faucet.pivx.link/

After a wallet restart I'm finding stake rewards and basically no orphans, but after 2-3 day it turns into almost all orphans until I restart the wallet again. Not sure why, it haven't done that before. Connection is not the issue, sitting on 1000/1000 fibre with 16 connections.

Two things pop out from debug.log:

ERROR: CheckInputs() : tried to spend coinbase at depth 91, coinstake=1
2019-11-14 ERROR: AcceptToMemoryPool: : ConnectInputs failed x

and

ERROR: CheckBlock : block timestamp too far in the future
2019-11-14 ERROR: ProcessNewBlock : CheckBlock FAILED for block x

Time is automatically updated so it's not off.

Check your time server, must be the right one ...

hey @cryptoqueenmari, under 2 euros per month seems extremely cheap, I would love to test out this service, are you currently hosting any PIVX masternodes for anyone? if so could you give me an estimate of how many you have? please?

thanks

ps. please join the PIVX discord and share your offers in there for the community to see, many of them do not check Bitcointalk regularly

Hey guys, a question for stakers; do you also have a huge amount of orphans?

A few weeks ago I barely had any orphan blocks but the last few days I have like a 70% orphan-rate.
No, quite clean in this moment. Last time I had an orphan uprising was due my VPN having long latency, just in case this could help you.
