only 1 masternode per IP address allowed

master nodes can also run one at the time ,meaning is you have a wallet with 10K PIVX thats a master node if you can supply diff port  # on start it will collect and run as separate process.. never tried on same machine and you might exhaust your machine but see if you can pull it off...  that is launch multiple processes passing diff config file to pivxd (looking up a parameter but it will be like bitcoin param that can take config path) obviously you will have sep config (pivx.conf) for each master node.. that you want to run (on same machine) but I am sure your CPU will spike.. but do let know how it goes.. let me see if I can find param you can find to pivxd

would be from a command line: ./pivxd -(some para) path to config ie ~/.pivxd-mn1/pivx.conf

never tried same machine wold be better if you have more than one (in which case a machine become a master node 1:1_, but then see the guide if you have more than one machine..

a ok so from the command line ./pivxd --conf= ie same machine (lol disclaimer never tried it but do let know! saves on hosting providers fees lol)

./pivxd --conf ~/pivx-1/pivx.conf (wallet 1 in this folder with 10K PIVX)
./pivxd --conf ~/pivx-2/pivx.conf (wallet 2 in this folder with 10K PIVX)
./pivxd --conf ~/pivx-3/pivx.conf (wallet 3 in this folder with 10K PIVX)

but your Mac or Windows might go 100% CPU usage but hey!

another point is if you can afford > 1K $ coins you can afford a hosting fee.. but then you really need to consult a guide as God forbid you give coins to a hosting providers...

One last question: Is there documentation anywhere showing how to run multiple masternodes on a single system like a Mac, Linux, or Windows machine?

wonderful question , we get 10 PIVX from each Today , I expect PIVX master node price to reach 10 grand within span of this year

btc38 is China and they love to trade in big amounts would be good to get on it.. if only from the volume stand point

that is fine.. zcoin has to work on their wallet and block sync.. it is very bad.. but have zcoin on purpose as well , it is tied to this coin will be well. by the virtue of the common algorithm..

zcoin is working hard to get miners back on board (many left because how sucky is to mine it) in general POW for me works if it works and they have to get better at it

I dont see zcoin a problem for PIVX.. if anything positive.. as both will polish core algorithm to perfection

cool made a tons already on zcoin.. again.. it is like having extra pair of hands on to test to code the model

bought zcoin around 2.40 c ... potential is in mega ton range as not even TOR is as secure.. it is the RSA that is the key in all of this

possibilities of master nodes are way beyond coin transfer but have applications in ultra secure contracts, cloud like supercomputing like CPU sharing and storage sharing anything that can be parceled out and secured beyond interception

will observe zcoin as they have LOTS of work and testing to do.. and master  nodes architecture injection with zercocoin protocol  will be nothing but a breakthru and market will react .. if it works I estimate you looking to 100 and plus million market cap I am very serious

why ? master nodes equipped with libzerocoin will be more secure than TOR itself , unbreakable, no one has that, granted some clone could emerge and clone this. but who has the time ,time is running out on all crypto in general (time + skill... many fakes out there)
