New topic: WBB.  I see that WBB has good stats on profitability, according to the home page.  But when I look at the linked ANN page, it says that WBB was swapping a couple of years ago.  The last post is in 2017.  It's not traded (as WBB) on either cryptopia or coinexchange.  Shouldn't it be removed from active mining?  Or am I missing some news?

Thanks

Huh Undecided  Guys I am a noob, but I feel like a was a little scammed mining on H2C.  Been on all day, and after like 4-5 hours .26 AUR deposits to my account.  After HOURS, I eventually received a measly .26.  If that wasnt sketchy, immediately upon the Balance displaying (very low numbers) profitability immediately plummeted from 350+% down to 120%!  Wth This appears to be a case of "false profits" and time manipulation.  Mining on H2C for Aurora today has been a horribly misleading experience.    Very sketchy !!!!

Yes, I found this out with LTC.  It all depends on the hashing power of your rig and the pool, because it's probabalistic.  If you have a small fraction of the total mining power pointed at a coin, you will only infrequently find a block and get a larger payout.  If you contribute to a large pool, then you get a smaller, more regular payout.  I tried mining LTC on H2C after mining on litecoinpool.org for many weeks.  I was getting very regular payouts on litecoinpool.  When I switched to here, hoping to get a reduced pool fee, I wasn't getting anything.  At the time, based upon the mining power on the LTC pool on H2C, it was estimating a MONTH to payout.  This is a crucial concept to understand when you are pool mining - I learned it the hard way.

I typically switch between single-pool mining (i.e., uncheck the Switching box) and just letting the switch decide.  Usually I mine EMC2, LINX, and sometimes DGB.  I looked at the markets on cryptopia to figure out the most liquid coins that aren't steadily dropping like flies over the past month.

Hope that's useful.

if the 'profitability' is that high, thats the coin to avoid.

for example...  Dnote.  been mining it for years.   they are STOPPING the network (and going to version 2)

on Coinwarz, the profit showed 1500% profit...  course its not true.   its that noone is mining it. so the profitablity things are wacked.

and dont JUSt look at profitabiltiy (vs ltc)     what about the est time?

like LTC...sometimes shows profitable, but its only showing 1/month found (sometimes longer)

also, whats the hash rate that you have, vs the pool, vs the net rate?

all that stuff plays various factors you have to look at.

just cuz it shows profitability over ltc.. doesnt mean that it is.

(you could also mine ANY coin. (like the AnyKey)   the profit showing is 80%, however next week, the coin dbls in value. (whatever reason)

so the 1:1 ltc coin value (say 250 ltc)   at 80% thats roughly $200 right?   but now that it doubled... its $400      so ...whats that mean to
the Profitiabiltity calculation?

    its just a guide. Smiley

If you want to mine a specific coin then this is a good pool for that.

If you have no life, then take the time to set up and download multiple wallets, and sync them with their networks.
Then go and set up an account with multiple exchanges so you can convert your alt coins to BTC.
Or, find a pool that does auto-switching and mines the most profitable coin and pays out in BTC. you will pay more fees, but you don't need a wallet with every coin and account with many exchanges to eachage coins.

Please help.  Smiley   Huh   Roll Eyes  Mining Auroracoin (AUR) for hours and it never shows in balances.  I say never as I have mined it briefly recently.....and then as now, it seems the only coin I've picked to consistently not show in my balance page.  Sent email to help link and nobody is replying.  Any help is appreciated.

Edit: And as soon as I posted here, the problem appears to have been either addressed, or self-fixed.  HOWEVER....After what? 6-7 hours of mining my balance is a measley .26 Aur?Huh?   IS this normal for this coin?  It was alleged to be highly profitable today...and numbers arent changing?  Does H2C skim hash power?  Is there some kind of delay in reporting (meaning a greater delay for certain coins)? This is really odd.  Thanks

What is the ideal setting for Antminer L3 +?

I'm seeing good results over clocking it +20%... Power consumption increase (at the wall) is about 18% more - 980W vs 830W for me

On the L3+ the thing is to watch the temperature and the HW line in the "Pools" section of the "Miner Status" page.  You can see it by board in the "AntMiner" section.  Typically one board (i.e., chain) will have a higher temp and HW rate than the others.  Try setting the Frequency in the Advanced Configuration page so that your HW (error rate) is below 0.01%.  That's a really safe setting and mine tend to run for a long time without rebooting at that rate.  The highest frequency that works is very dependent on the miner.  Mine all have different stable settings.

This is correct ?

I don't think it's worker.name
I think it's userID.workername
Either 32767 or 65536 works for difficulty.

Probably, I don't use mining dutch so you'll have to ask in the correct thread

I used to use this pool all the time but lately returns have been low and sometimes workers are not showing up at all on the website but miner is showing it is doing the work in the mining log.

Can an auto-axchange feature be available in the near future in the pool?

Which stock exchanges should I register for withdrawals ?

Most of the coins are traded on Cryptopia:

https://hash-to-coins.com/index.php?page=stock_quotes

H2C's comment on auto-exchange:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.27017051

Thanks, there will be a manual-exchange.
