Ive been mining Monero for about 2 hours now and no balance?
is this normal.  most coins i have some kind of balance after about 15 minutes.
5.5 KH

For now it is quite normal. Monero fork probably took 80% hashrate away from the network and difficulty adjustments will take 720. I have not check but i think we are at 200 or so blocks since fork. 720 blocks is normally 1 day. Will take a few days before it normalizes. My guesstimate was 2-3 days. Check blocks page in pool and you will see no blocks been found yet. only 9 blocks in last 24 hrs.

Are we going to talk about Monero?

No transactions, earnings, only dashboard hash.

Myth, good info I didn't know BTC was a one way exchange on MPH.
Looks like the things are adjusting with Monero algo change fork. MPH might have had some issue post fork but from my understanding after the fork yesterday the net hash rate was still very high, around 1140MH, since its averaged over a few days. This kept the difficulty high too - around 119 billion. But the actual hash rate was much lower so blocks were taking a very long time yesterday. The net hash rate is now reported as about 645MH and difficult dropped to 78 billion. I expect we'll see the net hash rate drop further over the next 24 hours and the difficultly also adjust as things settle down with the Monero network post algo change fork.

Note the MPH Monero pool hash rate for the days before the change was 22MH - 31MH and then fell down to 4MH post fork and now at about 7.7MH. The drop in hash rate definitely shows the impact of ASICs and of course those who haven't updated their miners (or can't).

it is also from the botnets. i checked other cryptonight coins. there were increase in hashrate but not enough for the monero hashrate loss. Monero probably lost 75% of hashrate.

when will miningpool hub add x16r algo?

MPH is very slow to add coins...

They add them when it is profitable to do so.  Shocked

if it was trued they would have added blake2s algo and pascal when dual mining was so profitable. and as far as i knw x16r is profitable. MPH is almost a one man show pool. Takes him a while to add things. He focuses on maintenance and issues

u can hit the merit+ button. dont know what it does though... hahaha

regarding the Monero not the fault of the pool. only got 1 block since the fork. Blocks are propagating real slow since network lost a lot of hash. How much no one knows. Network has no real way of determining how much real hash it has. Everything is an estimate. Since the fork less than 100 blocks have been mined a far cry from 1 block per 2 mins. some say normal block propagation wil return in 1 day or 720 blocks. but they didnt account for the speed blocks are propagating which i think will likely be 2-3 days

does it matter what digibyte i autoexchange to? and how come there is no digibyte-scrypt Sad

No any available autoexchange will work. If autochange to btc thats final and cant be autoexchanged for another coin in pool anymore.

I can't make that claymore 11.3 to work with R9 390

here I get shares bellow target, on niceh I get shares above target..

- Musicoin pool was mining on wrong hardfork chain for 8 days. 50,000 blocks were found orphan blocks.
But pool will pay musicoin from our own pocket whether you mined orphan block or not. Don't worry.

doesnt really matter pool will pay for it orphan or not. This is the type of pool it is. Pool cares about miner and will always try to reimburse you in my experience.

you may like it now, but probably you'd regret it in the future as there had to be paid 50 000 etherium blocks and pool may announce shutdown...

its musicoin not monero. Probably every pool has suffered similar incidents. Most will try to reimburse. Some like this pool will announce it and reimburse without any complain from miners. Others need more effort. Of the 3 pools ive used which suffered similar incidents this one is more forward and open. I dont like it when pools suffer something like this, but i support pools who will cares for its miners. If coins are available herem i mine here no questions asked.

is pool updated for tomorrow monero hard fork or we read about orphan blocks after a week?

Musicoin pool  8 days. 50,000 blocks were found orphan blocks.

Who is guilty? Pool? not update pool 8 day?

8days?
but i see i got a payment 3 days ago and it show up on the block explorer so that was on the good chain

wondering the same, how can you be on a fork and still produce valid blocks?

im not really sure but i think thats why when blockchains fork its important to include double spend protection. MPH probably sent the transaction on both chains unintentionally.
