Comparing zergpool and  hashrefinery in a same day and same algo x17 with XVG.Zergpool eat my profits but hashrefinery paid to me.Note this is not the first time.
Then the zergpool scam or not?

It seems they took the money from the account and you lost the time you spent mining on that pool, because all your earnings was taken from your account, right ?

http://i67.tinypic.com/dw26av.png

Yes, too bad that exactly the same thing happened to 5000 miners and all earnings and mining time are lost.

Do you know why this problem only happened to zergpool and the other pools had no issues like this ?

Do you think that reporting statistics that are 10 times higher for X17 than on any other pool is acceptable to see for 5 hours ? What do you think ?

It happened again today with LUX. Ayone noticed 18 orphan blocks and 180 LUX coins lost ?

Will the, "Dagger Hashimoto" algorithm be implemented?
And its secondary algorithms, for the Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred_Siacoin_Lbry_Pascal_Blake2s AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.5 ?
Or please explain the reason without realizing it ...

Been mining zergpool for short time.  I have not mined enough to receive payout yet but getting closer to .25.  Should I expect to be payed right when I get to .25 ltc?  Or do i have to plead and beg to get payed?  How fast does the auto transaction take place?  Is the .5% fee deducted at payout?

Actually, checked more. Fork protection triggered as expected after some time, issue was also that miners were using 24h estimates, which look back for average prices in last 24h, and of course were higher than mining remaining shield coin in x17

People still mine on 24h actuals?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
Guess they deserve it then  Grin

ROFL. What a load of bullshit. Anyone on x17 alog saw nearly SIX FUCKING HOURS of mining disappear. Hell I saw TWELVE hours disappear. If that is your idea of fork protection you are insane. That was a manual disabling by you AFTER you fucked up and used the wrong wallet.

At least admit you screwed up and state how you will fix it so it a multi-hour event doesnt happen again. Other pools figured out how to do it so if you cant... ask. Im sure a legit pool operator would help your half assed pool out. Though if you cant even get a simple wallet config right I doubt anyone can help.

I am sorry for inconvenience, I am about to design more smart ffork protection at pool side.

Please let us know more about your improvements when completed.

Thanks!

Regarding fee, community insisted I keep it 0.5, which gives some room for better network and HW upgrades.

So, you did not answered to my previos message about fees, now you see that community is asking you to STOP advertising your pool as 0% fee!

Thanks, fixed

Following happened last night. I was around when it all started with XVG, disabled it. Contacted dev, he confirmed regarding code change and advised to recompile wallet. So did I, and left it running on last release. Though during the night Europe time it got forked on new wallet. That was unfortunate, pool fork protection didn't worked as earning grew 6-8 times, not 10 as protection supposed to trigger disabling.

I am sorry for inconvenience, will think and design more smart ffork protection at pool side.

Hope it explains, happy and more safe mining to everyone

The owner takes 0,5% pool fee even if it advertises everywhere, even in the title of this thread that the pool is 0% and this is not true : ZERGPOOL.com - NEW!Multialgo, autoexchange, 0% fee,   <<< not true, and disappointing late action taken after 6 hours
It was explained several times why this 0.5% was introduced -- for hardware upgrade. I hope it was upgraded decently and solved disconnect problem, at least.

Also such a sh*t can happen with _any_ sh*tcoin, at _any_ time. Whoever is not ready to take this risk -- those shouldn't mine sh*tcoins, first of all. Actually, they shouldn't go into mining at all, for that matter -- mining is not a "business", and even less it's a "set-and-forget passive income", it's more like gambling with your money on stake.

Anyway, I hope the pool-owner will fix that XVG issue pretty soon or drop that coin forever.

He actually takes more than .5percent. In my testing it is more like 10percent, which is about the same as all the others. The difference is pinpin is a scumbag about it and hides it.

If a pool with high minimum payout stops servicing a coin (XVG), is has to payout the miners in the same moment or...
Each and every sh*tcoin around can be hacked, forked or f*cked up some other way or simply die forever, at any arbitrary moment, taking along all its earnings, payments, wallets, etc. It's a part of the current cryptocurrency gambling. No sane pool-owner would guarantee the opposite or take any responsibility of that unlucky sh*tcoin's devs.

However zergpool's owner could deactivate that XVG coin a bit earlier, not waiting for several hours.

I also think that if the coin had been disabled as it happened immediately on ahashpool there would not have been so many angry miners with so many lost hours of mining.

The owner of the pool is the one that supposed to disable XVG because he takes the fee and miners lost money because of this lack of action.

1. ... it is a Scam.
2. ... they show they don't care about or respect their customers.
3. ... they need tricks like this to keep miners coming.
4. ... they are unable to do it.
5. ... Huh

@ Zergpool

I wanted to support your pool. Nice zpool clone it appeared. But with lower earnings because of to many Orphans. Much worse than all the others.

What is also strange is that it mines RVN apparently to BTC despite having batch file with  -p c=RVN,mc=RVN   Huh Roll Eyes
So I just stopped it.

IF I FILL MINIMUM PAYOUT, WILL BTC GO TO RVN ADRESS???

Any time a pool follows the wrong side of a fork the earnings show super high like that.

I don't LIKE that it was wrong for hours but stuff happens... I imagine PinPins will have better measures in place from here on out. I will judge the pool based on what is learned / fixed from this. I've had great results from ZERG other than some growing pains (server upgrades and overload stuff).

For the record... I lost 0.015 BTC to the issue last night. It won't kill me but it is bothersome.

So... in short... there is NO SCAM... at worst poor error handling on the pool / the fact that a guy needs some sleep.

What was the problem, in simple words?
XVG coin suddenly got f*cked, it forked, and the miners who was mining that coin on zergpool.com lost what they thought they earned on it?
