Have you calculated a 24 period to see if it is better than just mining LTC or BTC?

Yep, however atm it's based on a 12 hour estimate. I checked all my payouts last night and this morning and found:

total @10:30 PM sunday
Est. Unexchanged Balance   Confirmed Exchanged Balance    Confirmed Balance      +  anc
0.0035914125                      0.01132554                        0.00892127          0.729664 @ 0.0068 ANC/BTC
=0.0288

10:56 AM Monday
Est. Unexchanged Balance   Confirmed Exchanged Balance    Confirmed Balance      +  anc
0.0143160595                        0.0184546                0.00892127            (1- 0.729664)+ 0.442856 @ 0.0068 ANC/BTC=0.0048
=0.0465
12.5 hour earnings==0.0465-0.0288=0.0177 EST24 hour earnings =0.035 = GOOD

Looks like a mess, but hey it worked out for me. Now that I'm keeping records I'll get a better idea of earnings as time goes on. I'll tell you actual 24 and 48 hour earnings if you like.

Mining at 1900 Khash, which would be 0.61757800 LTC = 0.02193019 BTC per 24 hours.
Not quite as good as i had hoped.
You running 3 - 7950s?

Ok, we got a problem here.

According to the ledger, I was paid "Debit_ATP   0.05312762", but I checked my wallet and I only got 0.02565309 BTC... less than half. What's going on?
a debit is a cashout.  you should be looking for AT_Credit

Ok, my AT_Credit was .05322762...

What are the withdrawal fees (both automatic and manual)? It would be nice to have a table "coin-auto/manual-amount-fee" on the FAQ page.

When you go to the stats section then go to coin balances there is a transaction fee listed for each coin.
It differs from coin to coin. I'm not 100% sure if this is just for the "cash out now" option, I assume it also applies for auto transactions.
Note if you only have auto trade for every coin you might not see the same list I'm seeing.

Joined hashcows a few days ago and now I'm glad I did. Keep it up you bovine bastards, you're doing well.

Any chance for auto-trade to litecoin?  Seems more logical for scrypt mining.

Eventually down the road but there are a bunch of other things we need to fix/implement before that.

I'm new to this switching idea. Anyways, did hashcows.com just waste and entire hour on ANC after the last round was nothing but immature blocks? If the round didn't make a single block, that coin should automatically be put on a black list for 24 hours. Or am i missing something?

No Immature blocks are blocks that have not matured yet, you are thinking of Rejected/Orphan Blocks that do not count. These do count they just take forever to mature. (ANC has a long mature time)

Thanks for the explanation, I have been wondering about this myself. What is the average mature time?

Pool seems better today. Exchanges must be working better. I have .0479 confirmed exchanged and .0254 unexchanged. Puts me at a total of .0733 which is less than what I should be getting (according to the profits page I should be getting around .1 a day), but better than any other day I've had on hashcows.

Is there a way to limit the range of vardiff? In particular, I'd like to set the min value of vardiff to 64.

Ill have to give 3.2.1 a try.  Any place I can find these bin files you speak of?  Also what makes those bins give you a higher hashrate versus the ones created by cgminer when you set the parameters yourself?  Just curious so I can compare them objectively.

You can find Lantis Bin files here - https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=6058.0
These bins have been optimized for scrypt operations basically. Read the thread if you want to know more.

I just switched to this pool today and my miners keep going back and forth from my backup pool. Is this normal?

Yes, it happens when pool switches to another coin.
If using CGMiner make sure the version is 3.3.1 or earlier (or it will be 5min before it switches back when pool is ready again).

That should be 3.5.0 or earlier.  The 5 minute failover switchback was introduced in 3.5.1 to combat DDOS pool recovery behavior and make makes multi coin pool users pull out their hair.

Your right but 3.3.1 seams to be the most stable for scrypt.

3.2.1 has better Hashrates with Lantis' bin scrypt files for me with my 7950s.
Just correcting the failover statement though based on what you said. Wink
