If it were possible to feed this pool into another larger pool for the purposes of LTC it could be worth the extra fee for times like this. I'm guessing that LTC will only be so enticing until the next difficulty retarget though.
Heh would be nice to for example, mine on litecoin guardian (one of the few nice pps pools for ltc) or http://ftcpps.nut2pools.com (a nice feathercoin pps pool) when it is more profitable plus we don't have to deal with variance we just get the nice payouts we want  Grin, I would love to see hashco.ws allow for pps proxying, would make things very profitable even with the slight fee we would incur.

New page, same question.

I know that each coin has their own share difficulty configurations, but would it be possible to lower the max from 1000? On fast coins like WDC (current round) my fastest rigs often don't even have time to submit a share, and when they do have time it's only from 1~3 GPUs  out of 6. Makes me feel like I'm burning electricity for nothing. Perhaps until (if?) ASICs come out for scrypt, a worker's overall speed/difficulty calculation should be limited to the fastest GPU available, roughly 800KH/s. My 4.5MH/s rigs get hit the hardest since they are being treated as one single 4.5MH/s number cruncher instead of the 6x 740~800KH/s number crunchers that they really are.

I can turn down the max, though it still seems your getting a higher diff share than you otherwise would be.  I'll change the max to 750 from 1000.

Regarding LTC....still not sure its profitable given the amount of time we'd be required (on average) to mine it before finding a block.  I think we'd end up shut out more often then not short of staying on it for the better part of a day.  I'll take a better look at this.

Regarding a north american stratum, its still near the top of the list.  I'm looking at providers and costs associated, as my normal place is unable to get me something atm. No timeline just yet though.

Will get the usd/mh/s graph updated today.

It was mentioned awhile back that a North American node was on the list of future features.
Is that still in the cards or are we stuck with the EU node for the foreseeable future?

If it's still on the list, where does that fall in terms of priority compared to the other initiatives you guys are working on like the new Web Redesign?

Repeating my question on the North American Node.... ??

Also, with LTC going nuts now in LTC/USD (though LTC/BTC still sucks), are we gonna get LTC added anytime soon?

Did you mean nuts HIGH? Wink  $7.60 LTC/USD right now  Shocked

Yup nuts High... it was in the mid 3.x's on Friday and stupid me sells some I had held over from LTC mining when it hit 4.12.  It's at 8.48 now on BTC-E and I'm holding onto crappy USD like a smuck Sad

I'm in the same boat with the BTC in my trading account.  Last weekend was so volatile, I thought it would drop and decided to end the weekend in USD when BTC was $315.  I made 26% in a few hours, but lost out on the 100% gain by being stubborn and refusing to get back in at a loss when it hit $350.

Are you using the GUIMiner-scrypt version? It won't work with regular GUIMiner.
Wow, I feel stupid. Thanks for the help Smiley

Having an issue with the site; I just signed up but it seems it isn't working. My miner tells me it has about 80 shares, but the site is refusing to acknowledge this.

I appreciate any help; this service seems interesting and I'd like to give it a try.

on another side note, since i still can use cgminer while trying to figure out how to get my cudaminer to run it appears the auto payout function for megacoin is not working , for last 2 days now ive it had it set to auto send  to me at 1.1 and yesterday it did not send so i waited to see if it would today and it did not.
i know i can go in and manually force it to send to my wallet but then again what is purpose of having us set a auto send payment amount if we still have to go in and manually force it?

Will check into this later today (bit of a hectic day today).

anyone using Cuda miner instead of cgminer for hashcows?

if so what starting command line are you using?

this is what im trying to use but keeps just saying

HTTP request failed: Failed connect to 127.0.0.32; No
json_rpc_call failed, retry after 15 seconds

cudaminer.exe" -d 0 -i 1 -l auto
-o stratum+tcp://stratum01.hashco.ws:8888 -O  ****.1:****

since when does cudaminer support stratum?
I think you need a stratum proxy to get it working... try guiminer-scrypt for the stratum proxy. then point to 127.0.0.1 for cudaminer while stratum is set up in the proxy.

Cudaminer does support stratum now but at this point im willing to try what you propose, how do i point to 127.0.0.1 for cudaminer? the stratum proxy i have seems like it only wants to use ports 3332  and 8332. and i need it to use 8888.Sorry if a easy question for some, this is not my area of expertise.

**EDIT 11/17/13**  I finally got it to work by using this website:

http://www.lpshowboat0099.com/Blog/how-to-mining-ltc-with-cudaminer-on-a-stratum-server/

basically i had to go in and manually add to the shortcuts "end of target line" and instead of running a batch file , i now just run this modified shortcut along with stratum proxy. A little puzzled how everyone is able to use cudaminer with no stratum proxy program yet i have to run it in order for mine to work--i guess no biggie , as im very happy to have cudaminer working over cgminer.

According to the github Readme.txt for Cudaminer, the current version supports Stratum: https://github.com/cbuchner1/CudaMiner/blob/master/README.txt

So stratum proxy shouldn't be necessary.
