The latest TAG round had a more sensible profit, but it was still high. I'm thinking it may be too good to be true

Whoa, that last 26 minute round of TAG netted me 0.031 BTC (I only have about 1 MH/s). Awesome!
Is there anything wrong with TAG? The profitability is too high at 919!!!

LTC is at $27 Is it not a no brain'er that right now it is MUCH more profitable to mine LTC then mine on HashCow???
Might be better, LTC is no joke ATM. The cows be sad if anyone leaves but we understand!
Just think of all the money you have made if you have been keeping you're coins!
Why not add LTC to the mix with a big handicap so it has to be WAY MORE profitable than the rest (like it is now) to get mined.
With the long retarget time that LTC has, it is very likely you will stay on it for a long enough time to find a block.

These shitty cards are amazing... With any other settings I get from my 7970 more than 540 KH/s (but no where near 700 KH/s), with your exact settings I get 413 KH/s. Fucking unbelievable...

I Flashed BIOS as described there and I'm now getting 750 Kh/s per 7970 instead of 450-500.
My bat file CGminer settings :
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
cgminer.exe -- scrypt -o -u -p --gpu-engine 1075 --gpu-memclock 1500 -I 13 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --worksize 256 --gpu-fan 80

On the other hand, if the stats are right and meets the estimated BTC on maturity...

Ah, so this is overclocked. Are you also using the --verbose flag to see if you're getting any HW errors on that intensity?
I am getting 730KH on my 7970 using these:
--thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1470 --gpu-powertune 10 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2 --verbose

Truly fucking unbelievable. I wish I could be of more help but mine are quite common and conservative settings (sans the overclock, without which I was getting ~620KH) so I maybe your card is faulty?
I don't know, this is making me crazy, I'm doing all the combinations of GPU from 900 to 1100 MHz vs memory from 1000 to 1600, in 10 MHz steps -> 1200 combinations. And this is only a 2-parameters experiment.
Have You tried other versions of Catalyst drivers? And some older CGminer can help as well - I am still using 2.11 on my two rigs, because everything above 3.X I´ve tried sucks..

What's the payout daily rate (BTC/Khash or somethign to that effect) look like these days on the cow? I switched back to LTC this past month but I'm curious if in Dec I should switch back...my goal is to ultimately aquire LTC not BTC so I'm not sure if it would be high enough to cover exchange fees or not.

nearmiss, looks like BBQCoin is the hot coin of the second. Thoughts on integrating it, Anoncoin, etc?
We attempted to add BBQCoin, but we couldn't get it to work with our stratum fork. Something we can look into deeper though as we always want to keep bringing you guys the best possible payouts.
I believe our current rotation is pretty darn profitable as you can see on the $ per MH chart, best we have ever seen!

And what about pps pool proxying? Mining LTC on LiteGuardian (for example) with our 500 MH/s would be really profitable these days. Is that technically feasible?
