Block 405 means someone mining on a 32 bit client has created a fork..

This is a grey area for me, can a single person with a 32 bit client create a fork? Or you mean a pool with a 32 bit client.

My windows wallet appears stuck at block 404.  How fitting that it's 404..

Yes fork at 404....shit

Just so you know, I don't think it's a fork, it looks like the same issue H2O coin had on their last launch where 32 bit clients get a rounding error and can't match the hash and nonce.  Something JP will have to fix in code and recompile wallets for.  There will be a fork if people are mining to a 32 bit client though, so make sure you are mining to a 64 bit build you have built yourself on linux or a pool that is using 64 bit.  If you solo mine to the windows wallet any blocks you may find would be on a fork.

Here is the commit that H2O coin used to fix their issue.

https://github.com/h2o-coin/H2Ocoin/commit/9b5d70311ece1c3a52b8f1596aa166e3cb32e4a5#diff-7ec3c68a81efff79b6ca22ac1f1eabba

And looks like a Darkcoin commit to fix a similar issue possibly.

Bitfarms.io
SuchPool.pw is now entirely operational.

You can come back. Everything has been restored and balances are correct. Cronjobs are running, payouts being done and blocks being found.

http://quebec.suchpool.pw

Again, we deeply apoligize for this downtime. It was totally unexpected, and the damage was really extensive, and affecting all our pools.

Measures are being put in place to ensure quick recovery if this ever happens again on such a large scale.

JP, I think there's a fork, really ...

Can you double check it real quick, please? with the asymmetry in hash power, it's not going to be pretty to decide witch chain is good ...

Make sure to keep spreading the hashpower around, join us at http://qbc.nicemining.pw for mining at 0% fee forever! We're still growing and we'll be around, stable and responsive for a long time!

can you please check what might be wrong with payments? ( TX 92d76da4446043be05b4d6f841489d0bccec31c67b79261177037ad7a1209fa6)

Maybe I'm not syncing with the proper nodes, I see a block and diff difference  Undecided

Can anyone point me to a couple good nodes? I'm using those on the OP ...

Wow, lot of hatred since this morning! That was a pretty awesome launch compared to Heavycoin (no pools for 26 hours), Darkcoin (weird high block rewards before wallet release) and all the scamcoins...

sooo block height was at 182 at 8:30AM (supposed "launch" time..)

That's 7.5 HRS of premine.  On a coin that was 24 hours past it's planned launch date...

Can't wait for this shit coin to die.

So to even the score I want to highlight some positive events:

Congrats to the Minep.it team:
I have switched my 25 MH/s from OkayPool to Minep.it, everything is running smooooth and the dashboard interface is awsome! The transactions fees at okaypool are prohibitive!

Awesome network!:
First day and already 4.7 GH/s over the network! That's what I call an healthy coin  Smiley

Many thanks and hat off to our dev JP "One Man Army" Gagnon:
Keep going man, you're doing great! You care and it shows. Don't let the haters get into your head Cool

Nice day to you all.
