"Hey everyone!
I thought I would make a quick little post to say thank you for all your help and support. Today, (actually, a few days go) ReddAPI turned 6 months old.
With that being said, let me give you some details on some data in those 6 months.
ReddAPI has over 600 accounts for sites/stores.
Of those accounts, there are over 3000 sub users, with Reddcoin addresses.
ReddAPI gets about 10 transactions per minute on the API. Not all of these are "Sends" or "Deposits" but an average of all the API calls.
ReddAPI has sent over 10 million coins in the 6 months in operation.
ReddAPI has had only 1 hour, and 35 minutes of downtime (not counting the 51% attack downtime when I shut it down). That is over 99.95% uptime!
Pretty cool stuff. I can't wait to see what the next 6 months bring! the growth in the last 2 months was greater than the first 4 months.

Well you know my thoughts as they are unpopular in this thread. Too much supply of a coin that does nearly nothing. And what little you can do with RDD you can do with DOGE and/or BTC or any other coin for that matter.

Reddit is in the works of its own crypto-shares, Facebook will also be incorporating crypto but only if it benefits them, trust me, RDD will not be integrated socially into either of those programs.

So you have Reddcoin, a great coin. The developer surprised me, after what I believe a scam to make some money has really held on for the long con. That is tough to do. I have noticed a lack of updates and passion from the developer so I am sure this is all weighing on him, dump his RDD now, slowly over time, or hold out until he can sell for 50 sats?

I saw the developer tip about $1,100 USD during "tip week." Nothing happened to the price. I think the crypto world has moved on from this coin, and the heartbroken DOGE crowd either became bagholders, or learned their lesson the first time or have moved into RDD, and already moved out as they have seen this pattern before.

Also Reddcoin has gone through community lulls, I believe it is in a lull right now. It gets hyped by a few newcomers and then it just cascades. Watch the subreddit on reddit to see it in action. Just a few months back it was getting pages of content per day. Nolonger the case currently.

I hope you guys are successful and make some money. I look at it this way, RDD was meant to be a social currency and break away from normal cryptos. It was not mean for people like me who want to see an investment grow, it was meant to be social, thus I don't think it will ever change. If you can live with the fact it won't gain much or any value but can enjoy the coin, then by all means enjoy. If you want to make an investment, just doesn't seem to be the place to do it.

There are many coins popping up here and there that are ponzi schemes to make a quick $$$.... They are obvious to me. Then there are coins that have great ideas, but never deliver, then there are coins that grow too fast and fail from the top and come crashing down, and coins that just fizzle out. I fear this one is going to fizzle out.

I think redd need price need to seriously jump to atleast 50Sat.
Now its trader far below its intrinsic value.

Hey all, new to cryptos and just found out about this forum. Came across this article and I was hoping you guys could answer a quick question for me. Why isn't ReddCoin being used for this? Seems like it could be mutually beneficial, no? Full disclosure, do not own any RDD. Still learning about cryptos and figuring out where to invest my money.
