Reddcoin is enabled by Cryptsy. Any idea about withdrawals to pc wallet? Has anyone tried taking it out of Cryptsy? Does that also require 999 confirmations?

The Reddcoin dev team asked Cryptsy to ingrease the amount of confirmations required for RDD deposits to 999, to make 51% attacks/double soends much harder.

You need to get 999 confirmation. Its set for a temporary precaution to avoid double spend again.

Your coins aren't lost. You can use the same private key you used for the Redcoin address to get access to the same Reddcoin address, I think. I don't know the details about how to do it, though.

Should be pretty much the same for Redcoin/Reddcoin

I do not guarrantee success, but it's worth a try

Hi

For no reason, Cryptsy decided to lower RDD confirmation back to 10.

We have contacted them again so they increase confirmation to 999.

There is nothing we can do until they fix their exchange or increase confirmation so the attacker stop building his private chain as any coin can be 51% attack.

Thanks to nicehash.com for providing the hash power to those thiefs. You can buy 3 gh/s in minutes. Exchanges need protection against this.

Other folks who have sent RED/RDD to incorrect wallets don't see their coins again, they're gone.
